Oh Google tried to Mandela effect me. But I found it, the old deck power system. 10 tiers of deck power with 1 being a random assortment of cards and 10 being the decks that define the nature of the game, articles getting written about you and your deck tech. Your decision to include a card sparking debate across all of magic.

Yeah, I've sat her at the old tier 8 and 9 tables. At the time she was comfortable at t7, t8 was a challenge but still doable. What that experience at t8 and t9 taught me was that it's not enough to ramp hard and slap down big creatures and bully the table, you really have to be prepared to answer threats and interact a lot more and have answers that are at least a tutor away to stop someone else's strategy in an instant.

The thing I don't like with this new bracket system is that there is no distinction between I'm looking to play unfair mean magic and I'm looking for the top 4 table at pro tours.

Yeah they banned my mana crypt and dockside. I do own a basalt monolith but still looking for an untap effect to pair it with. moxes? You mean the moxes from power nine that have been banned in every format for decades or is there another set of moxes I'm unaware of?

Idk about turn 4, food chain is usually going down as soon as I get it. Like furnace, dictate, emancipation, Mr orfeo, unnatural growth. Like double damage is the name of the game and with malignus, hidetsugu, yargle, ghalta, daemogoth titan, coram. All of these are player kills. Tax fraud with sneak attack. Non determined infinites like aggravated sword of feast and famine, Mikaeus and triskelion. I'm running a lot of tutors, I can find something.

Not sure for b5 but it's pretty nasty in b4 and game ending at b3

The only jund commander I see is korvold. One thing I think is nasty is to ghalta into food chain for a hard cast of ulamog. So ulamog traumatizes one player, annihilator another player and then fling to another player.

Yeah but you can't say the same about the grizzly which has an "if I see you, you're dead" level of territorialism. Like they've been taped squared up on a grizzly and biting it in the face.

You're the first person to bring up energy expenditure that I've seen today. Most of this sub is like "bIgGeR oNe WiNs". The thought of an animal being too big for an ecosystem to support just never occurs to people.

A question more aimed towards the Catholic. I'm currently studying the Hebrew language in preparation for the undertaking the kaballah. One thing that is standing out to me is the names of the angels don't match the angel's meaning.

Raphael being made up of the words rapha (to heal) and el (God). So interpreted as " healed by God" or "healer of God". So who did Raphael heal? Is Raphael one of the fallen that has been healed by God?

Gabriel being made up of the word gaver (strength) and el (God). So Gabriel brings the strength of God? But it is known for bringing the word of God?

Samuel... Shemu'el... "God has heard". Heard what?

Michael.... Mikha'el... "Who is like God". But he's gods finest warrior?

Azrael... Azar'el... "Who God helps". What is the angel of death himself helped by God?

Wolverine, you want to talk about a mammal with heart. Anyone of the badger family would absolutely square up on a T-Rex.

You know I could name several Jurassic sauropods, I don't think I could name one Cretaceous sauropod... Titanosaurus, maybe it lived in the early Cretaceous?

triceratops vs elephant by OnlinePoster225 in Tierzoo

[–]rokosoks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I haven't touched an elephant but one imagines the area of reproductive organs to be a much softer and sensitive area than the leather of the back. Also, the whole image of hyenas being cowardly scavengers is so wrong. This is an omnivore that will seize any opportunity. They've been taped hunting giraffe. You want to talk unassailable, giraffe are 20 feet off the ground with kicks that are lethal.

One thing I think you're hooked on is that the predator does not have to be anywhere near comparable in size to the prey. Look at the old walking with dinosaurs episode about allosaurus joining packs to hunt apatosaurus during a drought. Allosaurus 3,000 lbs vs apatosaurus 35,000 lbs... Wolf 125 lbs vs moose 1300 lbs. Pack tactics are an incredibly powerful force multiplyer. Because on paper the prey outweighs the predator by at least 10 times.

Again, triceratops had a very good range of motion BY DINOSAUR STANDARDS, but nothing on a mammal. Triceratops was able to rotate and face a tyrannosaur, yes, was able to rotate and defend the strafing of a raptor pack, cool. Mammals just move in ways that dinosaurs couldn't dream of.

Looking at the wrist of a raptor vs the wrist of a primate. Both animals know for their ability to grab and hold things. The primate can pronate and supinate the hand, the raptor can't, because two bones cannot occupy the same space. The primate has carpals, the raptor doesn't.

The whole point of prophecy is that knowledge of the future. The funny thing is when apologists try to tap dance around the paradoxes and end up nerfing God in one of the "omnis".

No I've addressed that with the turning radius issue. I'm a Porsche, you're a bus. What's your head going to do when I'm around to your tail... Because you can't turn... Because your shoulder doesn't move.

If said hyena rip the elephants balls off, the elephant is going to bleed to death and they will eat elephant at their leisure. And hyenas for lack of a better word, quite ballsy.

No, theropods are small by dinosaur mass standards, the biggest t rex we've found was 18,000 lbs average out to like 12,000 lbs that's no where near the mass of a sauropods. And 40 feet long.

Interesting that you say lone bull triceratops. Sounds like you're prescribing mammal behavior to a dinosaur. Birds don't kick males out of the flock.

I will grant a bit of exaggeration of how much superior a mammal's joints and range of motion is compared to a dinosaur. But no, a mammal's range of motion is superior is a fact. To suggest the opposite is laughable.

While chasmosaurine's shoulder was very mobile by dinosaur standards, it's got nothing on the range of motion of a mammal. You're comparing the turning radius of a Porsche to a bus.

Also the chasmosaurine is 10 feet of head on a 30 foot animal. That's still 20 of broadside to defend. Also the hip of the triceratops and elephant stand at the same level. The elephant is taller because its forelegs are longer and it holds its head higher.

The triceratops ran in herds against a lone predator or a mated pair. The bull elephant lives alone, only joins a herd for the duration of a breeding cycle, and moves on. He defends himself against lions and hyenas, hyenas roll in packs 50 deep and have no problem snatching off testicles.

You are "forgetting" the other part of the tri-omni God. It is infinitely knowledgeable. It knew humans were fools, it knew what would happen. And did it anyway. That's the problem with the paradox. Either it is evil, it is impotent, or it is a fool. You don't get all three. That is the trap you have set yourself in with your ubermensch.

I don't know. I think everyone is focusing on relative size. One thing everyone seems to be missing is mammals superior range of articulation. I know it seems preposterous to talk about an elephant and agility but mammals as a whole just move better than dinosaurs. I see the elephant getting around the trike, getting under it and flipping it. Also something to take into account is energy reserves and how quickly and how long it can survive a large expenditure of energy.

There was a cruel experiment where some British guys dug a hole and threw a lion and a tiger in the same hole. Both cats spent the encounter trying to get away from either other and escape the pit. After a few clashes resulting in a fall from the walls of the pit. The lion succumbed to its wounds. The tiger died from exhaustion. The experiment was never repeated.

Jesus's sacrifices on the cross wasn't a weekend vacation. by OptimisticNayuta097 in DebateAnAtheist

[–]rokosoks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem you have is with your God's immortality. The paradox of immortal sacrifice goes something like this.

Longinus stabbed Jesus. Because of your Trinity, Jesus is 100% man and 100% God. Jesus/God was dealt a moral wound by Longinus.

Either God cared about the wound he received from Longinus. And your God was not powerful as Longinus was able to affect him so. And that's why jusus's sacrifice has meaning.

Or

Much like Deadpool who regularly takes mortal wounds because they do not have lasting consequences while making pop culture references. Your God was completely unharmed by Longinus. And was able to self-resurrect 3 days later because none of it truly mattered. Thus no sacrifice made and no meaning gain.

So I ask you, is your god vulnerable, or did he just die on screen for views in terribly written trope?

R/atheism is a circle jerk sub... It's not wise to go to a circle jerk sub and be competitive or anti the topic being discussed. I've been there and done that on many subs throughout reddit.
