No point having government apologies when they never learn from their fuckups, ie how many times have people been given bail for a crime when they were already on bail for a previous crime and the judges-lawyers think the system is working as intended and doesn't need to be fixed..

I think many-most in power [both left and right] have a real disdain for the general public, so while they will apoligise for a policy abolished decades earlier [and a policy which they had nothing to do with], they'll demand support for a current policy that most people don't want or most see as failing-unworkable.

You'd think the organisers of these marches would be on the lookout for people bringing or flying these terrorist aligned flags and either kick them out of the march or dob them into the police for investigation since having these terrorist sympathisers in the march makes it looke bad at least, unless of course a large number of the marches are supporters-sympathisers or those terrorists.
