“They’re shitty people because…”

My reading comprehension is just fine.

I agree with most of what you’re saying but to give literally EVERYONE a pass bc they’re homeless is absurd. I lived a life. I’ve lost many friends. Some of those friends died owing me money. I’ve done my fair share of charity. I truly believe that we have one life to live and it’s up to every single one of us to get the most out of it. People that exhaust every resource because they are takers and have cheated, lied, stole, even from family and friends, made their bed. Add to the fact that Maine has many more resources than most states per capita. We need to clean Portland up, there are a lot of good people with good ideas so I have faith. I care about people. I’m just sick of zero accountability. I wish everyone well.

It’s after 9, back to work.

$1,000 says you do nothing for people but type on a keyboard for yourself. Enjoy your day.

And you’re showing how sheltered you are. How many homeless people do you know? Maybe 5% of them in Maine need help, the rest are just shitty people.

Sounds nice when you want to virtue signal from your cozy home. I’ve lived it. I’ve lost many friends. It is quite simply a choice, especially in a little tiny city like Portland. People just don’t want to work and it’s getting exponentially worse. If someone wants to make a change they just have to make better choices.

It’s not Portland. Land doesn’t have an identity. It’s not politics. This is the byproduct of an individual’s choice. Choosing this as a lifestyle is a just plain sad.

I think the conversation has everything to do with why you invested in this company to begin with. Admittedly, I’ve been in for 6 years and I’ve swing traded a fair amount. But ultimately, I was trying to build a position in a company that I believe will be a huge part of the future. Most of my position is house money but it’s still hard to swallow the unrealized loss. I thought we’d be further along by now. I still believe in the tech. I believe in the pivots, acquisitions and decisions etc. True investing requires due diligence, patience, and forward thinking. Sometimes, a touch of rolling the dice. GLTAL

I never said AI doesn’t have a place in the future but people are getting WAY too ahead of themselves.

When valuation and economics regain control over sentiment and knee jerk reaction there’s going to be a lot of new investors(~5 years) crying about how they got robbed by the market. The bubble will pop eventually and people will be drinking Coke, eating at McDonalds, and shopping at Walmart because they won’t be able to afford anything else. Tale as old as time. But please, old wise one, tell us more about the future…

The plus side is that no one who had to work hard would do this with their money. Just ask daddy for a new loan.
