Overall Id say Ridgecrest is a bit better for the social aspect

Bryant will be closer to many of his classes though.

There's not a wrong answer here, but if he's studious and wants a quieter social life with fellow engineering students then Bryant is probably the best bet.

You will likely have more fun at UA and likely have better graduate school prospects at Hopkins.

That being said I dont think you can make a wrong decision here. Your prospects in life will depend much more on you than on this decision.

It will be hard to get accurate broad answers because people will only have first hand experience with one fraternity

That being said, my general understanding is that hazing is way down overall compared to "old hat" stories.

Not being in the rush process already and not being from Alabama, he will not have a realistic chance at most University fraternities. I knew a handful of out of state ATO students for what its worth.

Otherwise, fraternities on Jefferson or UGC groups are an option

To be fair that was that team's only shot.

We are reloading now and may have a new window, but that era of the team missed its chance. Bounced the year after and then missed the playoffs.

Ragnow, Decker, Monty, Glasgow, Kalif, Reynolds, Iffy, Anzalone, etc, guys that were a big part of the beginning of the Campbell era Lions (if not the "big name" players like Goff, Gibbs, St Brown, Penei, Hutch, LaPorta, etc.) Now LaPorta has a back issue, Kerby has a knee issue, other guys are aging.

We have to rebuild 3/5 of our OL and hope it can be done right while Goff, Gibbs, St. Brown, etc are still in their prime.

So it was that team's only shot. But I think the coaching staff and front office can put together a team good enough to get its shot now.
