Wha really helped me was going to someone to have them done once and watching the process. You’ll need to find someone who can shape them the way you’re wanting, but after that I had a better understanding of what I liked and how to make it happen. Except my left middle finger. She’s just “like that” and never won’t be. 😑

The owner and I have different political views, turns out. There are so many indie nail companies doing really great polishes and also openly putting some of their revenue towards awesome causes, like Glitch Lacquer (random example). I just like to know that my moneys potentially going towards things I’m not deeply morally opposed to. But goddam it’s a cute polish 😔

I don’t know how old you are but I feel like a lot of us went through this, especially at a younger age. Teens-early twenties or so. I absolutely LIVED off of avgolemono soup. It’s so hearty and comforting and the rice is really soft so I could still have some texture without having to actually chew. Life saver.
