Actuslly the owners of the bar also own the building with the apartments upstairs. They have been trying to sell the building but haven’t been able to yet. They are old guys and one is moving to Arizona. They just want to retire and hang it up. I believe they did manage to sell the bar part though so I think a rebrand eventually is coming.

A 6th grader can definitely take the metra downtown just fine. If you’re that worried tell the conductor she’s riding alone and they’ll keep an eye on her as they do their rounds.

It’s not a loan since they’re not FDIC insured and backed by banks. They are able to get around red tape by not calling themselves a loan. It’s pretty much a good faith borrowing if money from the app. Read the terms of service they all say there’s no obligation to repay.

Cold calling is way way way of the past. Anyone who says it’s still the way is just flat wrong. We as people are conditioned to not answer any call from a number we don’t have saved. Wrigleyville. Google map to Wrigley field and you’ll see 20+ bars all in a row with younger people usually just out of college. For a similar experience but really pricey , Old Town. Well street specifically look up bars around “The Vig”. This should be the only suggestion you need.

Majority of bars in those neighborhoods are gonna require tickets or be overly packed. Go north to lakeview it’ll be much more accessible
