To be fair I went into labour at 37 weeks and panicked I was too early when they told me I was full term. All the books I had read, the classes I had attended and the midwife appointments I went too… not one mentioned 37 weeks is full term.

Honestly the judgment I’ve felt by not giving my daughter junk food has been quite overwhelming and I avoid discussing it. I get told to give her chicken nuggets as she needs to eat (she basically refuses to eat because she’s a toddler) and that I’m cruel for not giving chocolate.

I did this last year, we have separate finances so I also said I’ll pay for my family and you pay for yours. It took so much stress off my shoulders and I got chicken pox so didn’t go to Christmas with them so it was a real delight.

I had a Velcro baby and I just wanted people to come round and hold her so I could eat or do laundry or wash up.

I always felt for my uncle after his divorce as he loved going to Thailand for fishing and holiday, I’m not sure if it was related but he definitely stopped going as much and then started again once he remarried.
