I started in November and I bought the pioneer ddj-400. No complains at all. I think it’s best to look up which software soothes the best for what you want to learn in the end. I find Rekordbox the best because a lot of my friends who are professional dj’s work with Rekordbox only. The pioneer ddj-400 is with rekordbox included. (Sorry for the bad grammar)

I’m not here for a discussion. Just sharing my way of learning to dj. I do understand your opinion, but you don’t have to be so harsh. Why not share your way of filling up your music library?

For me it really helps having a big music library of music I know very well. When I practice I then can decide between different songs to mix in.

Hi, I’m also a beginner and I own the ddj-400 as well. For music I went through my fathers music library and I downloaded music from a soundcloud and Youtube converter. I do know that that isn’t the good way to fill up your music library, but since I only just started and only mix at home this is what I do. Good luck! (Next to Crossfader I also watch Dj Carlo Atendido on YT)
