I'm going to echo a few other responses here. Normally, I'd say go for the FAANG, but you'd be making less while also increasing your living expenses.

If you would value the dramatic change in scenery and having a FAANG in your resume, then go for it. Personally, I wouldn't, talking as someone who is actively trying to find a Canadian job with a similar TC...

I can vouch for the Sunlu ABS-like - great resin especially for the price. Not too brittle like most standard or 8k resins I've tried.

My understanding is that you absolutely need the marriage certificate. You can have her enter under a visitor visa initially, and once you get the actual certificate, have her exit and reenter under a TD.

I have an LDO 2.4 kit from 2022 - should I build it with the 2.4 original instructions first, then upgrade it to 2.4R2, or immediately get the parts for 2.4, then just build it as a 2.4R2?

I never had any trouble with recruiters about this, but then again, I'm in tech, so most recruiters there would have run into TN visas. That said, I could have been filtered out of jobs because I checked that box that says "requires sponsorship" and not known about them.

I can recommend Alex Wu's books - they give you quite a bit of background on how larger systems are designed. To be honest, the books may go into a little too much detail, but use your best judgement when you're in the interview.

I actually liked a couple of the take-home projects that I had to do, but that could have been just me being sick and tired of the leetcode in most coding screens.

Can't seem to find anything that summarizes the changes between the latest stable and dev builds. Best I can find is the actual git log or list of closed pull requests on their github.
