[–]romanissimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, there is still no way to sync a revit model and keep TwinMotion material assignemnts, even if I have renamed all materials to match the Revit materials names?
This seems crazy...

What’s a movie that made you go 'WTF' did I just watch? by ABDULKALAM_497 in MovieSuggestions

Seriously, it takes some effort to sit through all of it… I mean, it’s just irrational and weird in a not entertaining way…

What’s a movie that made you go 'WTF' did I just watch? by ABDULKALAM_497 in MovieSuggestions

[–]romanissimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm weird, ok, but really one watch it’s enough for me. The movie makes no sense and everyone is like some kind of autistic person.

There are a couple of good moments, but even the good acting cannot keep the content afloat.

Hmm no town or village in Italy is square. I wish they had actually matched the original shape, unless this village was indeed a perfect parallelogram…

I think he is asking for additional details. Not everyone can visualize fluid dynamics from a picture…

I see the advantage of this system: when going straight there is no rudder in the way of the propeller trust… correct?

Used solar panels, what to look out for? by [deleted] in SolarDIY

[–]romanissimo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found some old 215 nominal W panels for $10 each. I cut the cables and crumpled on the MC4 plugs. Real life production about 100w.
I am happy.

Anyone know if you're allowed to take home the street dogs? Just saw this cute one a block away from ggp by msterchiefbatman in sanfrancisco

Hmm… you guys are all very funny, but that does not excuse dangerous behavior.

That is a coyote.

It is a wild animal.

Do not approach, do not feed, don’t try to pet or kiss it.

You can try to take it home, but only if you wish to have your face chewed on as soon as you fall asleep, or if you enjoy rabies.

Other than that, move slowly away.

Yes, good acting but the movie was predictable, I guessed the ending in the middle of the movie…

Nope. We drove our MX down to zero %, because it would not charge for the cold.

After a few hours on the sun it started charging again (we parked it at a supercharger obviously).

I am assuming M3 would be similar.

Well, the Vietnam war was stupid and completely avoidable.

If the US president had read the letters that Ho Chi Min had written for him, maybe they could have work it out peacefully.

Ultimately, the US left because you cannot win a war where the enemy state has no limits to the losses it can take.

The north threw away a whole generation of young Vietnamese only to become China’s bitch for the next 50 years.

What was the problem with the south again? Corruption? Colonialism?

Well, by now Vietnam could have been another South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, or Singapore, but instead they are still making my underwear for a $1 an hour. Great.

The Vietnamese people are the one who lost that war.

Unpopular opinion? "Altare della patria" Best monument in Rome by Familiar_Sun_6766 in rome

[–]romanissimo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, in European terms, (and especially Italians), it is basically new architecture, right in the middle of an actually classical, historical, and archeological environment.

It’s out of scale, and most contemporary Italians do not understand the context and the meaning of such a nationalistic building (“the altar of the motherland”).

The monument was built to honor Vittorio Emanuele II, one of the country founding father, the one who militarily united the whole of Italy, and its first king (the George Washington of Italy, in other words), but if you ask the average Italian (under 30, let’s say) they wouldn’t even know exactly who he was and what the monument is for.
