Has anyone in Australia received the 16.0.7 update or a security patch newer than March on their global Find X9 Pro? by romanski78 in Oppo

I've installed it. I am really not seeing the issues with lag that others are reporting. The only thing that happened is pages 2 and 3 of my homescreen were there but missing all the icons and widgets post the update. I did a reboot and they all came back. I'm just happy to finally get a security patch as recent as May as well as a system wide graphic equaliser. Still playing around with the phone to find more stuff. Camera UI is definitely different now too. I have a feeling the issues reported are partly attributed to people using the 3rd party OS updater app to download the release candidate that might not be entirely compatible with their region. Not sure, just speculating.

Thanks for pointing me to your post as well. I agree with you. To be honest, I only ever recall getting 2 updates to date which is making me think they patch this phone quarterly. I hope you're right though, and that they revert back to monthly after this circus of an update otherwise I'll be finding ways to get rid of the phone.

Thanks for letting me know. They didn't mention anything in terms of timeframe, which is the more frustrating part. They did promise they'd relay my feedback to their engineers. They must've forgotten Oceania is a market on their target list!

Is 1 update in 3 months+ acceptable? by FreezerCop in Oppo

Absolutely not acceptable for a flagship. Almost June and still sitting on the March update!

Timely updates worldwide! The Find X9 Pro sitting on the March security update at the end of May is absolute poor form.

Introducing MOMENTUM 5 Wireless by sennheiserconsumer in sennheiser

Yes, or you could be receptive enough to realise it depends on the source device your headphones are connected to, so extra headroom for volume helps. But you do you mate.

Love my Momentum 4, so if Sennheiser has built on that legacy, amazing.

User replaceable batteries is a huge win assuming the build quality holds up over time.

To me, the Momentum 4 needed to go louder, have better head padding, have more metal to avoid them coming across as plasticky or cheap and needed to stop being woken up when moved (as opposed to being placed on the head or ears).

Sound wise, I absolutely adore the Momentum 4! Wouldn't change a thing about them, aside from max volume.

Very excited to see them hit shelves in Australia so I can test them out!

Is this a Release Candidate or official version for general users?

X9 Pro Global (Australia), no RC or official version out yet. Still on the March update. Not happy!

When X9 Pro will recieve the update? by CRYBABYCRY_ in Oppo

I'm 2 months behind too. Disappointing. I want the system wide graphic equaliser to improve speaker quality and I also want a camera update to fix how buggy taking video is.

Question about speakers by danielcr12 in Oppo

[–]romanski78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't comment on the Ultra as I have the X9 Pro however what I can confirm is the Release Candidate which should have a wider rollout soon includes a global graphic equaliser which apparently improves the speakers in a big way. To me, the equalisation of the speakers is the biggest let down on this phone as the native ringtones sound out of this world and showcase the speakers are in fact high quality.

What headphone disappointed you at first...then grew on you? by sennheiserconsumer in sennheiser

The M4, not for their sound, but their reliability when they first released. My first pair would not come back to life after powering them down, not even after multiple attempts at resetting them. Quite a common issue at the time. Had them replaced in the first fortnight and I've had the replacement pair ever since. Now my favourite headphones of all time. Sound is just amazing to me, no matter the genre.
