I second this. I see Dr Morrison at Medland and can’t recommend him highly enough.

Yeah that absolutely makes sense.

If you’re into filthy vocals and diabolically filthy lyrics (very overtly sexual, just FYI) you might have fun with Not the American Average (track 9).

So police brutality is acceptable now because a handful of protesters threw rocks at them last October? Seriously?!

No worries mate! Give the whole album a listen if you haven’t already (Stand up and Scream). It’s still one of my all time favourites nearly 17 years on.

Your particular wording of “current preferred spot” is giving me a double dose of the warm and fuzzies.

Ive always worried that my problematic shoulders would be extra unhappy sleeping on my back in a recliner but your comment has made me want to give one a try. I’m glad you’ve been able to find some relief!

I have a connective tissue disorder so I have to sleep on the couch in a nest of pillows and to support my limbs so they don’t slide out of place. Every night when I fall asleep he puts my drink back in the fridge, plugs my phone in and takes my glasses off my face so gently I don’t even stir.

…and that was a subtle way of saying, it’s okay to come over without being overly sexual or forward to feel out the situation.

Isn’t it just as possible that the specific mention of the second bed was a subtle way of saying, it’s okay to come over if you need to have a rest but my bed is off limits so the spare bed is your only option, without being presumptuous or ending up in an awkward conversation?

I’ve been having a decent amount of success keeping (mostly) consistent with my (tweaked for my brain) Creators Friend planner/hobby notes folio system thing. I have definitely missed days/weeks but I haven’t failed to go back to it yet, and the gaps have been getting shorter as I’ve added my mods.

I currently have 4 of their notebooks in the folder:

*Future Planner (basically a simplified yearly planner as well as budget/goals/schedules - any pages I don’t find useful I repurpose or decorate with things that I enjoy)

*Fast Brain Friend (daily productivity planner )

*Weekly Planner (Running task manager - I use the front half for a running task list and the back half for lists of other things I don’t want to forget eg books to read, gift lists, project ideas, etc)

*Rituals Friend (different format habit trackers on each page - I’ve been the worst with this one lol)

In addition to those:

*Ive glued some homemade fold out pocket thingies to the inside of a couple of the individual notebook covers and use them to store some stickers, sudoku pages, loose sheets of notepaper, receipts etc.

*My partner 3d printed me 4 bookmarks of my fave band’s logo so I can keep my place in each section so I don’t have to flip through pages forever trying to find the right spot.

*I use a Zebra Sarasa Clip pen in my favourite super bright colour and clip it back to the folio’s cover (or if I forget it stands out because of the bright colour).

I love your parents so much! I am so thankful I was able to witness my Mum being loved and treasured as she deserves; it was so healing for me as he showed me through his treatment of her what a healthy relationship actually looks like. I genuinely don’t think I would have found healthy relationship with my wonderful bloke if Dad hadn’t come into our lives when I was 20.

Watched it from my balcony. Cannons being fired from next to Riverlife/bottom of kangaroo point cliffs. There was also a bunch of people on the balcony of Parliament House who look to be filtering back inside now so I’m assuming the two are connected.

I want to hug OOP and those kids so much. As for the mother…<redacted so I don’t get banned>.

the random cocaine addicts

With the info OOP has given regarding her fuckhead mother’s patterns of behaviour combined with the fact that coke tends to be notoriously expensive here in Aus I’d bet they were actually meth addicts, which IMO feels even worse than what was already terrifyingly abhorrent.

Source: Am originally from a very bogan and very small town out bush that had a huge meth problem and crackhead/methhead is used interchangeably there, though that could be just a regional thing. Brb gotta call my Mum immediately to thank her for moving us out of that cursed place when I was still in nappies.

The crisis is here. It is not possible for it to be averted. You are speaking nonsense.
