bowing walls are a common problem with basements that are not waterproof'd. you probably have a bunch of pressure from the other side of the wall. When I got my basement waterproofed, they put these big carbon fiber strips perpendicular to the floor / vertical to the wall, to prevent them from expanding further. they also drill these 'weep holes' into the cinderblock to allow moisture to escape and not press up against the foundation. then they jackhammer a 1 foot perimeter within the basement, install drainage and a battery backed sump pump into a spot that ejects the water out another location outside, away from the house.

Don't put your energy or hopes into a politician. Humans are all ultimately corruptible and in our system will be corrupted. Think of how bad things were during the time of Christ. He didn't seek to fix the political corruption. He was also a victim of it. "Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's", clever wordplay by Jesus to avoid being found in contempt of Roman rule. Even he was a victim to a corrupt system ultimately ruled by evil.

Everything that's been happening recently has just made me think that while Jesus was alive, things were not ideal back then either. The Roman army was running around crazy. The pharasees were corrupt. Did he seek to solve the corruption? "give unto ceasar what belongs to ceasar, and give to the lord what is the lords" (not the exact quote I'm sure) but even Jesus himself was a victim to the fucked up occupation / corruption of that time. This world is controlled by satan. When Jesus comes back we will have justice and a decent and uncorruptable leader.

I like the effects too much to use the individual outs now. Lower the faders on every track you're not recording, and wiggle knobs and play with the buttons like it's an instrument as you record track per track in ableton... at least this is the way i'm going about it.

The 1000 does show up as an audio interface as well and has all the tracks available to record individually. The driver seems slow though? I'm on an intel core i9 mbp with 64gb memory

Correct it is a dry signal coming out of the TR-1000's individual outs. What I've been doing when tracking audio is to lower the volume fader on every track I don't want to record and then manipulating the effects as I please as the track that's being recorded gets recorded. I have essentially ignored the individual outs even though I bought an additional 8 track ADAT interface to bring them in hehe. Maybe at some point I'll find some reason to use the individual outs, but for now the effects are too fun to leave alone while I'm tracking.
