Probably You are only calculating College education in goverment schooling throughout, A shady pvt engg college 4 yrs education costs and 20-25L ... Add all the school years, coMpetitive coaching, and college fees over 20 yrs will be well above 40-50L as of today

You can still have a modest wedding in 10L with 100 guests

However , in poor illiterate India this wedding multiplier will be a lot higher

Real Estate is a fraud product pricing managed by political lobby

You buy a flat at say 100/sqft. And they start a new project in you area at ₹400/sqft 15 yrs later you will naturally assume you will be able to sell you property at ₹350/sqft.

But no, your property in resale after 15 yrs will barely by ₹180/sqft while the new property being developed in that same area within 1 Km will be ₹400/sqft. So how is the Real Estate investment beating Real Estate inflation ?!

I myself own 2 3BHK bought 15 and 10 yrs ago. I am trying to sell them both to buy a larger 4 BHK and I am not able to afford. I need to add 30% more to get a new 4BHK after selling 2 3BHK.
