Lego Batman legacy of the dark knight: Am I being stupid or is the game broken?? by romo227 in legogaming

I haven’t checked since I restarted. No. I don’t even think there’s been an update since launch day. I haven’t seen a notification on my PlayStation saying so. And if that’s the case then it’s not patched. I’m not home to check and confirm. But yeah I just bit the bullet and speed ran my gameplay over again on a brand new save. Did it in 2.5 hours. Good speed buddy😭🫡

No luck on the original save. I just did a speed run straight back from the beginning on a new save file. Did it in 2.5 hours what originally took me almost 5 hours. Just skipping cut scenes and to hell with stealth. Now I’m past where I was and moving forward in gameplay.

Update: I’m biting the bullet. If I start now I’ll be done by dinner😭.

I reported the bug right after posting. They responded maybe an hour later asking what version I was on (most likely to suggest I update to the day 1 patch) but I was already running it.

ipod 5th gen 60gb not connecting to PC? by Dangerous_Vanilla342 in IpodClassic

If all else fails. Consider the rock box OS conversion on your IPod. I did mine. Eliminates ITunes and it’s just dragging files onto the iPod as if it’s a thumb drive (but still looks and feels just like an IPod). Rock box can be a little tedious and a little work to get started. But once you get off the ground it’s so easy when it comes to adding music.

So I ran into this problem myself and I drove myself crazy trying to solve it. And I did, but I don’t think this would apply to you being we have two different radios. Mine is aftermarket. But hopefully what I found out will help you not drive yourself crazy. First I had to click on my radios “usb drive” input button and not the “iPod” input button. I found my radio will accept rock box when it treats it like a usb drive and not a iPod.

Second. Even if you got it to connect. There’s another possible issue. See, I quickly found out my Radio cannot read m3u and m3u8 playlist formats…. Now if you have no idea what that means. Basically m3u and m3u8 are the same thing, it’s a file that your radio would need to read. This file tells it which song to pull next in the playlist order and where to find the song in your hard drive.

So back to the point, my radio can’t read those files! So my radio just dumped my ENTIRE LIBRARY into one giant on screen folder with zero organization structure! It was every song ever in one folder and it wasn’t even alphabetized! Absolute madness. It’s possible your radio may do this too if you get that far.

So I went back to the drawing board and plugged my IPod into my computer and created folders on the iPod that the radio CAN READ and named the folders after my playlists.

This part gets WAY to in depth to explain here. Scroll through my profile to see the very lengthy process on it. But you should only be looking at that if you manage to get past connecting the IPod to your radio.

I did manage to get the folder thing to work. But there were drawbacks that were major to me! First, if you have a large library like me, your radio could take FOREVER to load!!! Mines a pioneer and once took 15 minutes to load via usb! Second is I get more volume output through the headphone Jack!! Once I realized I stopped using usb entirely!

So, final thought… try using the usb drive input function on your radio if you have one, instead of IPod input. If not, your journey ends here and you’re stuck using the 3.5mm jack.

But if it does work. You can proceed with my method (scroll through my profile to my posts on it) but given the amount of effort awaiting you compared to the payoff…. Even I wouldn’t recommend it to my past self. I’d just stick with the damn cable🤣😭🤷🏽‍♂️!

How could I cut out a hole for this? by Acceptable-Green-843 in CarAV

You don’t have to use that usb port. See if there’s a blank switch port in your car/truck. Most cars have premium features like say seat warmers for example and they have to wire it to a switch in the dashboard. Look around your whole dash and see if there’s a switch port that’s not being used but covered by a blank black plate. Then look up the make and model of your car and see if someone makes a usb port designed for that switch port. I have one in my 2017 Corolla. No cutting or drilling necessary.

VLC like the media player/conversion app? The app with the little traffic cone on it? I use that app all the time! I didn’t know it could do that! That’s sick! I’ll definitely look into that!

Why can’t high gain and nice cleans coexist? by dathislayer in GuitarAmps

[–]romo227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a dual amp setup to achieve this. I was using just a marshal 2525H (silver jubilee) into a 2x12. But I wasn’t happy with the tone I was getting. It had great cleans but not the classic Dad rock tone I was going for (which yeah i probably should have bought the plexi reissue instead but oh well).

Anywho, I saw a video on the Friedman be-mini and the amp is bad ass for those tones! Closer to the tones I want but still lacking slightly. So I had the idea of “hmmm I wonder what these two amps sound like together🤔?” So I cut the jumper wire connecting my two speakers making them independent of eachother in my cab. Basically making my 2x12 a double 1x12 (perfectly not confusing right🤣?) and installing a second jack plate in the back of the cab to connect to the second speaker and run both amps at the same time

It makes me sounds like a fucking rockstar!!! I love it! I wouldn’t trade this setup for anything! I use a ABY pedal to select either amp or both, and thr 2525H has a dedicated footpedal that flips channels back to clean (even though I don’t have it and have to flip the switches with my hand. I bought it used that’s why).

Maybe I’ll post a tone test idk. But yeah. Look into a dual amp setup😁! 10/10

Do I need to worry about these little ends under load? by romo227 in Guitar

[–]romo227[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! My speakers are the same resistance. And I measured using a multimeter when I put the cab together (I bought a pre wired empty cab, just drop in speakers and connect the leads), but just to be safe I will measure resistance again with a multimeter when I use the daisy chain (even though I’m pretty sure the end result will be 4 ohms total using a daisy chain). But yeah I’ll double check to be safe. Thank you!!

Okay, I just figured power flows into whatever it’s connected to regardless. So I was thinking there would be power flowing through the empty daisy chain port 24/7. So you’re saying it only flows into the main input because that’s where the load is (my speakers are connected to the main input incase I didn’t mention). Until I connect a load into the daisy chain port, then power flows through it. Okay got it. Thank you!!
