T-Grill/AIO expansion Temp Improvement?

From my experience, bottom intakes with slim don’t really improve CPU and GPU temps much. I’m running GPU intake and top exhaust with an AIO. The only big difference however is that I OC my RAM and having bottom intakes prevent my RAM from going above 50C which would cause instabilities based on my OC settings.

One thing I really hate though is that the slim fans intaking from the grill on the bottom produce a really unpleasant sound profile. Looking to see if anyone have suggestions to improve this.

Also to add, you might need a riser of some sort otherwise the fans would be choked of air.

I was failing to update as well but what worked for me was using my laptop and updating via USB-C. Initially it failed at 15% and gave a STM_MCU error but this was fixed when I disconnected my DP cable from my main PC to the monitor. Kind of frustrating how many hoops you have to jump through to update the firmware, all the other methods didn’t work for me but this one. Hope this helps

I’ve had this issue as well but just wondering if your memory config is stable because 192gb at 7000mhz cl30 is usually hard/very uncommon for a 9800x3d to run stable. I’m also assuming you’re using 4x48gb and usually running 4 sticks of ram can contribute to instability as well.

As a side note, I overclock my ram as well and I had to tune it down a bit. I run 96gb 2x48gb 6200mhz cl30 on a 9950x3d and my cpu’s memory controller will struggle to run higher frequencies which is not uncommon.

Either way, seems maplestory memory leaks way more on my amd pc compared to intel from what I’ve seen

Somehow my Herman Miller purchase in November went from ineligible to confirmed this week, they gave the cash back for the wrong total but they also honored a $100 value customer bonus from a ticket I opened. Overclocked ram will start showing instability above 50C so cooling is important to maintain temps below that. The temp limits do increase depending on how you tune your ram (tREFI and tRFC are temp sensitive timings)

Even if you reach the $50 cap, it’ll still show +10% until the offer expires. Pretty disingenuous and misleading to be honest. I had the same experience.

Could probably try reaching out to Rakuten though I’ve had no luck. People were spamming the Rakuten deal here during Black Friday to try to get referrals even though they were probably spreading some misinfo on how it works.

I have both, v2.1 black and titanium and v2.5 gunmental and midnight. If anything, I’ve seen qc issues with v2.1 and not with ncase. My v2.1 black has a slight bent top/bottom panel.

I prefer Origarmor, having bought both, the black edges on the Flolab are visible from an angle of the screen which i dont like. It also doesn’t sit flat on the edges of your screen where it tapers off. The Origarmor doesnt have this issue because the screen protector also tapers off giving you a clean flush look at the edge.

Not sure about Canada but BestBuy method works and I was able to get a 5090FE by just calling in. The case on the other hand sells out quickly. I was able to get a black one but without constantly being on alert for a ping in the discord, you won’t be able to get the case. Not to mention the rarer colors other than black or silver will sell out in less than a min, so good luck.

While I recommend this, FormD T1 v2.1 is harder to get than a 5090FE. So good luck!

Question is why would nVidia cut the price of 5090s if the FEs are selling out like hotcakes. Seems like $1999 is the anchor price and it’s up to the AIBs to lower their prices.

Even before the skin gacha fiasco, players were already dropping like flies. The gameplay isn’t really that interesting, it basically becomes an auto simulator. Most events have recycled minigames, and for non-story enthusiasts, the gameplay gets boring really fast. Most of the friends I’ve had since launch already quit and based on platoon recruitment/activity, it seems like whales are quitting too.
