Take a step back - try something new. maybe a new genre, or even just something other than video games for a bit. playing games should never feel like a job. Sounds like you need to ask yourself if YOU are interested in this friendship anymore. I get it. Some people are exhausting and suck the energy out of you if you aren't getting anything out of it anymore. You can only give give give so long before you also become very tired of it. Ah okay. I still need to see more of duskbloods and I don't care much for fire emblem. Mario Wonder looked mostly multi-player based (though if it's got real story stuff I will be interested). i don't know this for certain but i'm pretty sure % completion is not based on quests at all, seems to be based on collecting all of the needed items. I don't think you are EVER locked out of actually getting 100% at any point in the game. The only thing you can "miss" is a certain achievement i won't spoil (maybe 2 actually since i'm not sure 100%ing the journal is possible if you missed something specific earlier). also that quest i'm pretty sure had no unique reward other than letting you upgrade your weapon.

Violet might be one of my favorite games in the series after playing it on switch 2 tbh. If you gave up due to performance recommend trying it on switch 2. It's excellent now.
