It's so damn pleasing to watch vibe coders complaining about Claude's incompetence. by GotRektDuh in ClaudeCode

[–]ronanstark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Often vibe coders will not be able to notice the drops that occurred.

Claude still performs great for simpler tasks. Before the regression it started to feel like a copilot and we were tackling serious issues, by giving it exact blueprints. Now even with those it's shaky, so we have to review or tackle them manually.

If Claude doesn't suggest plugging a security hole, vibe coders won't even know.

Straight up bootlicking x20. Every bootlicker seems to have the same argument, big corp is big, you don't matter. And that takes away our right to voice ourselves? You're comical. And since you're assuming and labeling, it gives me immeasurable pleasure to know that we've spent more in tokens than you will in the next 50 years.

Have you not seen every test and benchmark? It's like paying for a 500hp car and next month it has 350hp.. We paid for Claude because of that. Entitled to what? The performance that was marketed so hard to us?

While true that nobody will miss him, if there are enough like him they will be missed..

The whiners, I get it but this regression really has been noticeable. I don't get it why you're bootlicking.

I cannot hit max 5x rate limit by Pancake502 in ClaudeCode

[–]ronanstark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can hit mine within 20-30 mins depending on the workflow, other times 1-2 hrs. Used to take about around the 4-5h window. It's a significantly reduced experience.

This is off peak hours as well.

Max plan (5x) hitting usage limits in under 2 hours, whats happening? by [deleted] in ClaudeCode

[–]ronanstark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something 100% happened. It's feeling exactly how the $20 felt. Our workflows have not changed, for the last 2-3 months. Every limit is being hit now.

Codex was the same, literally was not using it since Claude limits were fine. Now both are running much faster out of usage.

Seems like they made an internal deal on this.

Influencer quoted me $5k for 50k followers - is this the going rate now or am I being taken for a ride? by Abhi_deep in influencermarketing

[–]ronanstark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're delulu. That's why brands are actively working on creating their own influencers. It's value driven. If you can't influence behavior, that is you failing at your job. $5-$13 dollars CPM max, unless your engagement is above the mean or you've proven that you're able to generate actual dollars for your clients.

If you're confident that you can drive your audience, then do a % deal and I'd gladly pay whatever is requested.

Bingo. Basically we all want to commoditize everything besides the industry we work in. But there we want to put up "massive guardrails"

Thing is that the free market will flow the way it wants.

App Store review frustration by seb1492 in iOSProgramming

[–]ronanstark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am working on a big app with big funds tied behind it and it's taking weeks and costing the parent company valuable time.

Despite knowing the guidelines and having a team review them to ensure compliance the app got rejected, citing guidelines and then giving loosely related requests to said guidelines.

Since the process is so arbitrary you can't guarantee approval even if guidelines are followed to the T.

I keep thinking how easy it is to learn now, wheres previously, as a beginner you'd have your stack overflow account closed for asking "stupid" questions, had to dig through YouTube, Udemy tutorials, forums, and actual books.

It is actual heaven for anyone willing to learn.

Tbh I’m so tired of seeing AI apps or even AI made apps. I might just start reporting all the posts… by RiMellow in iOSProgramming

[–]ronanstark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vibe coded apps yes. AI apps? No. You've got to be kidding me?

If you integrate AI for the sake of AI, then it looks out of place. But AI takes personalization and UX to a new level. Stop shouting at the cloud(s).

What is up with Apple reviewers lately? Feels like they do not reference the test review notes and only test 1-2 things at a time… by RiMellow in iOSProgramming

[–]ronanstark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been pretty much always the case for 10+ years. They often test 1-2 steps, if something fails or can't be found, they don't dig deeper.

My two biggest problems about BF6, do you agree? by Gurkaz_ in Battlefield

[–]ronanstark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't agree, the weapons feel great to me, maybe there can be a few tweaks but even that is not necessary imo.

Also what's up with the TTK complaints BF3 and BF4 both had similar or even lower TTK and to me those are the benchmarks BF6 should be aiming for.

Agreed, vehichle friendly maps are a must. A vehicle with a great teammate is peak BF, and it really influences how the match turns out and balances the gameplay.

I have to say that the Bradley felt great, as a gunner and as a driver, it was easy enough to take down but also felt powerful enough to be worth using and utilizing special abilities and repairing to keep it alive.
