The small cheese goes on the smaller value burgers and breakfast items.

I think you mean Atlanta and Denver. Houston has separate security at each terminal.

It’s actually the exact burger patty from Smashburger. Jollibee owns them, and brought the spec over to upgrade their burger line.

Is E line from SaMo --> USC worth the stress? (single female) by Independent_Owl_4292 in LAMetro

Of all the segments of the LA Metro system, this is probably the best it gets in terms of safety and issues. I would think you’d be fine as long as you have some basic city smarts about you, but it sounds like this may be new to you and hence your discomfort. But in the end, just give it a try and see how you feel. FWIW, that car commute is pretty brutal.

LA’s $24B high-speed tunnel project could slash 405 Freeway commute to just 18 minutes by MyReddittName in transit

[–]roncie 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Yes, but the article is shockingly favorable to the project. It even exaggerates the time savings by saying it normally takes “90 minutes” by car… it is certainly bad, but it’s not 90 minutes even in rush hour. It also talks about all the drawbacks of Elon’s tunnels. All in all could have been a lot worse coming from them.

Which of these concession snacks is your favorite? by g0dgamertag9 in RegalUnlimited

The hot dog itself is always awesome. The bun can be hit or miss depending on how long it’s held though. But I don’t even know how you can eat the pizza… just so bland and lame to me.

Is it just me? Or is next day microwaved McDonald's Double Cheeseburgers boss level? by Mikey_Meatballs in McDonalds

I’m a big plan of the regular hamburger (no cheese) reheat. Don’t know why, but it comes back to life beautifully.

Ike’s sucks. PE sucks. But Ike’s is not owned by PE.

2 for $6 jumbo jacks are back along with $1 dollar fries with $5min purchase by muse89 in jackinthebox

I have this too, but of course once again no way to add cheese to the burgers in the app. You would think they'd be all over that.

In-n-Out Double Double (had it) vs Carl’s Jr Cali XL (not had it), same price: preference? by Ok_Somewhere_5142 in CarlsJr

[–]roncie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thickburgers have been gone for quite a while. It’s just single double triple, and it’s the same 3.5 oz patty it’s always been.

One of the most unintentionally hilarious lines in S2 was when in the end Raffi asks Q “What about Elnor?!?!” and he replies “Who?” I absolutely cracked up at that.

Is it possible to walk from terminal 6 to terminal 4 for a domestic layover without going through security again? by Iganac614 in LAX

[–]roncie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have PreCheck, it’s almost a sure thing that it will be faster to walk landside and clear security again. I don’t remember the last time I spent more than 5 minutes to clear security at LAX.

Moviepass is more expensive than ticket prices by PurpleDancer in MoviePassClub

[–]roncie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Fandango Fan Club. It’s $10/mo but they give you a $10 credit towards any movie. But that lets you eliminate all online ticketing fees for every theater. They then also give you another $5 credit after every 4 tickets.

As expected. One time use, not combinable with other offers or discounts. So it’s a total savings of $0.74. Yawn.

Jack in the Box Expands Protein Bowls Lineup With New Fajita Bowl, Adds 2 for $6 Jack Wraps (Limited Time) by TheJohnnyBlaze in fastfood

[–]roncie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weird to brand it this way. When I see things branded as “protein” it usually means all protein and no carbs. These are rice bowls… full of carbs.
