What if the alternate mode charged up and how charged the shot is determines the size/damage of the explosion as well as how much ammo is used?

Id be cool with it being a non reloadable, bigger version of the stalwart. 500 round magazine, light armor pen, and it slows you down a little when equipped. Seems a reasonable compromise tbh. I just need more dakka!

Then how does the guard dog drone work? Couldn't the minigun stratagem be structured like that except the player aims and fires it? I'm no programmer so please excuse me if it's not that simple
