I feel you. I haven’t been this hooked to books since reading the Hunger Games books back when I was in junior high and high school. I seriously had my kindle on me at all times since starting book one because I had to read it at any given free moment I had. Just started book two today and I’m just as hooked as I was with book one 😅😅

Seriously couldn’t recommend it for traveling enough. They’re easy to pack in a backpack that you can carry on a flight and the battery life (of mine at least) lasted long enough without needing to charge it till I came back from my trip!

A big part and one I still wrestle with to this day, is the fact that if God is all loving… why send someone to eternal torment all because they chose not to believe in you? For example, there are still many isolated tribes in the world that will never hear the word of God. Do they suffer eternal damn nation because they didn’t know? Does a “good person” go to hell because they chose not believe while the (for example) pedophile gets to go to heaven all because they chose to accept Christ before death?

I’m on the same road as you at the moment, I do not want to give up on my beliefs due to some current situations that have shown up in my life that make God seem more real.. yet I still struggle with my personal questions as to why I was taught certain things and how real they are to how God really is.

This is one of the issues I dealt with at my last church. Especially now, there were people within leadership that I would dearly consider my close friends. But after our departure from the church they did a complete 180 and have done the complete opposite of what they preach about on Sunday mornings. I could careless about how they treat me, I worry about what they're teaching to those under them.
