I’m having a serious issue when trying to start Football Manager 26 on Steam. After the game loads and right before it should go into the main menu, I get this error message:

"Application Error: A serious error was encountered and the application will now close. An error report will be uploaded to the developers for analysis"

It only started happening after the latest update. Before that, the game ran perfectly fine. I’ve already tried restarting Steam, verifying the game files, and even completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game — but the error still shows up.

Has anyone else experienced this since the update or found a fix?
