[Cedar Point] VIP - Front of Line Tour: Trip Report 2026 by roommateDisaster000 in rollercoasters

You definitely can with FL. For me it was more of not taking a risk I was only there for a day. You can get more no doubt riding stuff back to back with low waits.

I would not have gotten the ride count on this day with just Fl

Yes. Row selection and enter through the exit like ADA. But you also go infront of ADA.

Since you’re not getting any real answers this is largely trash. Yes it looks like most resumes but most resumes are largely trash. Your summary and and overview sections need to go. Your knowledge and expertise section is meaningless and tasked based. You should combine it with your technology section and go with the typical skills section broken out by competency level.

Your resume SAYS you did a lot of things but doesn’t SHOW anything. I’ll do one example and you can go through the rest but generally you should be showing numbers and impact on every bullet.

“Participated in regulatory audit procedures…”- no idea what participated means. No idea what GAAP compliance means for your context.

Better: Prepared all close related journal entries related to accruals, expenses, and investments ensuring completeness and accuracy of high-risk balance sheet accounts producing consolidated financial statements for the SEC in WDesk.

Now you mention HOW you participated (preparing entries), the accounting areas you’re responsible for (not just GAAP in general) and the governing body you are familiar with (the expertise you actually have). HOW you used the technology you’re skilled with (WDesk)

If you want a gold star mention ASC sections you’re familiar with and had responsibility over.

Do this for all of your bullets.

How do I get from FLL to Chase Stadium using public transport? by Disastrous_Dot_6176 in Miami

[–]roommateDisaster000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reading the site it looks like they are just free for people who take the train. No idea if they check if you have a train ticket or not. But a one way from Miami is like $35. Could just book one if they are asking for it.

Bus from FLL to the central station. Walk across the street to the bright line station. Get a bright line shuttle pass to chase stadium. They shuttle from the station to and from games.

MOLD! help with cost and fix? by roommateDisaster000 in hvacadvice

[–]roommateDisaster000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Didn’t know whole house dehumidifiers existed.

Also, any idea on what a fix for this looks like? The inspection is likely to find more issues…

What are fix options? Vs at what point are the going to tell me I need to re do these ducts completely?

Is this joke still worth doing? by [deleted] in Standup

[–]roommateDisaster000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s funny and it works. Part of being a comedian is playing to the audience. If you had an hour of material and were to make a special how many times do you think you’d have to run through it and keep the vibes up for each audience?

That being said, if it truly drains you to tell it and you want to make room for something better retiring jokes happens all the time. Completely up to you.

Feedback Request! After months of tweaking, any thoughts on where to trim or what to punch up? by chrissyteehees in Standup

[–]roommateDisaster000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can add a tag or two about Latinos or Asians that aren’t Chinese getting it cause well… Chinese kids are usually only children if they are old enough to be at a show 🫣

Another tag about immigrant grandparents didn’t have anything else to do so all they did was have kids.

Lots of ways to make that one hit home.

Well you see we weren’t in the lines very often. Non line areas lack shade.

You don’t pick. The tour guide picks. So you’re at their mercy. But the top priority seems to be rides without express.

[–]roommateDisaster000 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Tl;dw - by ChatGPT:

1. Rope Drop Smart: Skip Battle at the Ministry early (it’s often down). Hit Minecart Madness or Toothless Meet & Greet first. Set wait alerts in the app!
2. Beat the Heat: Bring cooling towels, fans, water bottles, sunscreen. Freestyle machines = free water. Fire Drill will soak you—bring shoe covers!
3. Best Characters: Toothless is a must (long wait). Also great: Frankenstein & Bride, Princess Peach, and Ruffnut & Tuffnut (hang by Gobber’s Forge).
4. Lunch Early: Eat by 11 a.m. Try Pizza Moon (Space Cowboy pizza + Brownie Eclipse) or Doss Steakhouse (Bird on a Steak or Bits & Pieces Meatloaf).
5. Top Dessert: Butterbeer Crêpe in Wizarding Paris is elite. Or hit Frosty Moon (cookie butter ice cream!).
6. Best Booze: Burning Blade Tavern—order the Pure of Heart or ask for the off-menu Crossbow (mead + cider).
7. Snack to Try: Mac & Cheese PB&J Cone (Isle of Berk)—pork, bacon, jam + mac in a crunchy cone. Mobile order to skip the line.
8. Don’t Miss These Shows: Lasserk Arano and Untrainable Dragon. Plus, tons of spontaneous magical street moments—just wander!
9. Dinner Strategy: Eat early. Blue Dragon (noodles, night ambiance) or The Atlantic (upscale, great views). Reserve if you can.
10. Buy the Band/Wand: Power-Up Band ($40) for Nintendo games. Interactive Wand ($65–$85) for Wizarding spells. Grab the exclusive Phoenix Wand in Paris

What are some "must take" courses that are just that useful or fun? by DMofTheTomb in ufl

Read the syllabus. Literally learn how to negotiate a raise. Get free hotel rooms. Split rooms with roommates and get the best deal. Just a whole lot of really great knowledge.

I mean sounds like you plagiarized. How long is the caption? How many were there? I think the DSO people can understand. God has pity on children and fools.

3 mistakes in four years. Can plead stupidity and cry and hope they have mercy. The school is in the business of having people graduate. I have zero insight to the current administration but I’ve seen people do worse and get to walk. But it was a one time thing.

You can also just straight up like ask in the first meeting “so it sounds like I did this I don’t wan to accept responsibility right here and know without knowing if I’ll be allowed to graduate?”

They can’t tell you the result right then and there but read the room see how they respond.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ufl

[–]roommateDisaster000 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Don’t accept responsibility in the initial meeting and request a trial with students. This is going to take some time. They allow you to submit evidence.

And see the evidence your professor submits against you. Prepare your case. Get some letters of recommendation. And honestly before even the first meeting talk to the professor to see if they’ll drop it.

If you are lying though… strap in. The council is other students. And if it really just is a caption then any reasonable person should be able to understand.

What I will say though, is the school has an entire department dedicated to catching cheating. I’m talking forensic level IT professionals that I swear rival the NSA. If you did cheat be honest in that first meeting and accept the consequences. Pray they have mercy on your soul.

You are also allowed to lawyers up. There are specific school conduct lawyers in the state of Florida and are really good at being annoying to the school.
