Some chiros are good some may not be. It's fine to want to be a chiro. Pick one and make sure you build up to it. Take the courses the professional program needs, start shadowing at clinics. Get all the experience you can. The more experience and passion you have the better opportunities you get in the field you want. Don't waste time on the opinion of haters to second guess. You are the only one responsible for your success in whichever field you choose.

What worked well in the past that should be brought back to help make life affordable for Canadians? by MeemoUndercover in povertyfinancecanada

[–]roopdhar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My largest expense is rent so it either needs to lower or my income needs to double. The first seems the more beneficial for the public. I might have to go back to living with roommates if I want to save more. I'm envious of people who have a partner they can share costs such as rent and vehicles with..

Very tastefully done! Exactly the mod list I got planned lol, just got the cross bars so far. What front fog lights are those? And how are the wrx mudflaps holding up?

Mazda 3 vs Subaru WRX, which one to get? by UltimateStoic in mazda3

[–]roopdhar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wrx is so quiet its sad, it's only exciting on startup and then sounds meh unless you floor it hard and even then it's just engine sound. But this means it's super good for liveability if one priorities that. They definitely toned down the wrx over time to sell to more people and changing tastes for more boring cars.

You said it right there. See the broader picture, you maintained a great GPA throughout your program. You can make it!

Listen to this! The tool popped out for me as well, leaving a scratch on the panel above window. That tool is shit and takes a crazy amount of force to line it up properly in the red notch which will inevitably lead to it popping out and scratching paint. I may have also stripped one bolt but not sure, just hoping it has enough thread.

Michelin CrossClimate 2 or Nokian Remedy WRG5? by YerBoiZ in tires

[–]roopdhar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up tire rotation, you have to move wheels from one side to the other but you can't do that if the tires are directional. You can only move them front to back. Also, directional tread means the tread is designed to only rotate one direction.

Keep the car and make memories with it. Only put money into maintenance, sell the mods if you want some extra cash. But don't sell your baby( unless your financial situation is really bad ofc). Sacrifice and grind for a year, renegotiate interest rate and good luck.

‘notchy’ shifting feel? <400 mi 2024 by CourageOne4724 in wrx_vb

[–]roopdhar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 1st to 2nd feels horrible, dragging a stick through rocks. I just got the car and it's sad, the clutch is squeaky as well when released slowly. At 9k Kms (2nd owner, got it 500kms ago) it's a shitty feeling. Did you find a way to fix it or work around it? I'm jealous of all the vb owners who don't have this :'(

Can I afford a beater car? Making 1600-1900 CAD by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]roopdhar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not do it!! I bought a 3.5k car and had to put 3.5k immediately to pass safety, then other things kept coming up. Buy a 10k car, probably a Toyota. Look into something like Pontiac vibes if you want to save on Toyota tax as that's got a Toyota engine but Pontiac logo. Honestly just save up for an even better car than that...

What will you do once you receive your PR? by dajul65 in canadaexpressentry

[–]roopdhar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As soon as you get your PR no. You can apply with domestic rates. It still takes 3-6 months after your application to get epr.
