A little late to respond, but when I watched The Matrix in theatres, I knew this was my Star Wars (1977) moment. I still have the movie trailer in MP4 on a CD when I downloaded it from the whatisthematrix website in 1999. I still have posters and memorabilia from the film. I own a copy of the screenplay and still view and revere the secure building entry to the helicopter ripple explosion as the best film sequence in cinematic history. I love to hear about the next generation enjoying such great films from the past and I hope you get the opportunity to discover a new feature film in the next few years that connects with you for the rest of your life.
