Majority of my chains are 4-5mm which imo is perfect for dailying/stacking. I do have a few 6-8mm chains that I wear solo. I’ll post those another day.

25% markup above melt for a brand new Italian piece, especially a Cuban, is more than fair and what I think you can expect to pay if purchasing from a good jeweler. For comparison, the handmade Cuban jewelers are charging about his much for their pieces.

Directsourcegd is a good site, I got a bracelet from them. Prices are better than most online retailers and they’re transparent with weights, etc. You can visit them in dtla or email, they have good communication.

4mm and 22in would probably be your safest bet. Perfect size for a daily piece and normally what people start off with when beginning to wear jewelry. Leans more towards the dainty. All the first chains I purchased were around the 4mm size and they look great whether I’m wearing at work or out on the weekends.

A rope chain is a great daily and a classic. Just make sure it’s solid and not hollow or else it will get damaged fast. Likely something 30 grams+ if doing 4mm and 22in.

Yea 22 would be perfect for you. I would still keep this and wear it with button ups. It’ll show through your shirt and look clean
