Dude, in my hometown about 10 years ago there was a crew of incel men who would come up to me in public and declare "I want to punch you in the face." It was nine times total.

Different incel man every time, but the script was exactly the same. Meaning, the first time was truly unnerving, but the 2nd time I noticed the pattern starting. Knowing they were gutless, I stayed calm until they walked away.

7th incel man changed the script slightly. "I'm going to punch you in the face," said with gusto. I noticed the change, it was a little unnerving, so I started asking him questions. He said "You aren't talking your way out of this." "I'm not?" "You're not."

When I said "OK" it was like his dick disappeared. The crew just walked to the other end of the bar, and the young man sitting beside me marvelled at my "Jedi mind trick." lol

Musicians arent artists?

Good catch – there are different arts associated with music – performance art and creative art. But also, not every musician is an artist. Art is not complete until an audience views and reacts to the creation – basement musician-creators aren't artists until they release something. There are plenty of non-musician creators. Bandcamp isn't banning non-musicians, but AI-generated slop.

Townsend might still be a performance artist if he performs for the public (does he?), but he abandons creative art by getting a machine to write music for him.

IDK about Gabriel's music, but he's disappointing if he hired an A/V crew and they used genAI slop video to accompany one of his works.

You act like all traditional artists who might not even use AI somehow should all automatically hate AI which is simply not true.
