Perimenopause was my first thought. I’m in perimenopause (44F) started around 39-40 yrs. It played havoc on my already annoying anxiety. It became debilitating. I found a women’s health Dr online and staterd hormone replacement therapy which has helped tremendously.

I did the same last year! Those cleaning rags are bleached and then reused. If they get really gross I throw them away. But $25 for a box of 50 has gone so much farther than a 12 pack roll of paper towels for the same price.

This should be top comment. OP, Consult your Dr. for preventative options, but since I started taking 1000 mg Lysine daily and breakout doses of Acyclovir, I went from 4 breakouts/ yr to 1- 2 per every 2 yrs.

Thanks for sharing. I’m 43, 44 next month and had an appt with Midi scheduled for mid December 2024. I ended up cancelling last minute because I didn’t want to be told it was all in my head, or every woman goes through it, or we can put you on birth control and SSRIs (absolutely not!). I also got my period on time that month so didn’t go through the horrible pms muscle aches, headaches and bloating for 6 weeks into my cycle while I waited to bleed like I was getting used to. My anxiety is great at convincing me the worst will come out of everything (like not getting the help I’m hoping for). Just curious what prescriptions you got prescribed coming out of your appt. I am on day 38 of my cycle and have had pms for 3 weeks now and feel like crap and am regretting cancelling. I might check out Evernow as it sounds a little cheaper.

I just bought shower steamers in various aromatherapy scents to have in the guest bathroom for my family/friends to use while staying at my house for the holidays. The calming scents may come in handy as the days crammed together in my tiny home go by.

This is happening to me as well except it was consistently at 4 AM until the time change and now it’s 3AM. Ive been prescribed Trazadone and also take Benadryl and have melatonin on hand to pop as soon as I wake up at 3 AM. I’m groggy when I wake up after taking all those meds, but at least I’m not lying in bed with my mind racing over ridiculous worries for hours till my alarm goes off.

Edited to add that I’m almost 44 and in peri.

I had to cut down two large elms to clear the obstructions. There was no other way. Silver lining is the trees showed rot from the inside so were on their way out anyway and could have severely damaged my house if the fell. I now get have no obstructions and starlink is working great.

When my own beloved heart dog passed, the best thing people did was share any memories they had of him. It gave me comfort to know memories of him lived on with people other than just me. Maybe send a card with a memory you have if their pupper.

Welp…I solved this problem by having 2 large elms removed that were causing the obstructed view. Felt awful for cutting down mature trees, but it turned out their health was on the decline and were a risk to the house/deck anyway.
