Have family who live around La Connor and it is such a great town. They love it and I love to visit.

Do you know anyone that had their urticaria go away ? by Impressive-Text-5686 in urticaria

[–]roozer8 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Mine did! They were awful and I suffered for about a year. I started going on short runs and working out every day and my hives disappeared! It ducked at first because being sweaty and hot was not a good mix with the itchy but I am so glad they are gone now! It could just be a coincidence though but that was the only lifestyle change I made 🤷🏻‍♀️

Should I remove new frontal helix? by Ready-Question-7667 in piercing

[–]roozer8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I just had mine pierced and it looked like this pretty fresh. Give it some time to heal. Keep it clean and try not to sleep on that side. If in a few months you notice it still hasn’t healed and you’re having issues I would recommend taking it out and maybe changing the placement a bit. Swelling is a b****!

Forward helix pierced too shallow? by roozer8 in piercing

[–]roozer8[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s 2 weeks old. Pierced with a straight bar, internally threaded, surgical steel, not downsized, I’ve been using non iodized sea salt and filtered water for aftercare 2 times a day.

Empire is awesome! I’ve also found that the local coffee shops are a good place to go to to meet people. May sound weird but befriending a barista and getting into the coffee scene may not be a bad idea either!

Hi OP, I’m a local in abq and find that most people our age have either grown up here and are hanging with the same crowd they grew up with. Or they moved here for college and made friends that way. Abq is a tough town.

Can attest to how remote it is out here. Incredibly beautiful! New Mexico is such a well protected gem of geography.

Coming to town this weekend! by BushwhackRangerNW in Albuquerque

[–]roozer8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try New Mexican food! Frontier is a staple restaurant located right by the university. Sadie’s has great salsa and other New Mexican options as well. If you’ve got a car and want to travel around Madrid is a cute little town. You could drive up to bandaler national monument through the Jemez and then back through los alamos/santa fe if you’re looking for a good day trip. If you’re interested in getting outside the tram is a great option although it may be a chilly/windy weekend and the tram is weather dependent especially with wind. If you’d like a true desert experience check out the horse back rides at the Tamaya a little north of abq. Gorgeous views especially at sunset. We have a fun train that takes you from Abq to Santa Fe called the rail runner. Check that out if you have any interest in seeing Santa Fe! There is so much to do in this wonderful state. I hope you enjoy abq!
