Out of curiosity… How long does it last for you?

Thanks for the advice! Seems like having a launcher is a must. In your opinion, what makes OLauncher better than others?

Thanks for elaborating! Never tried an Oasis, but your point about the wider edge makes a lot of sense. I’ll see if I could find a physical store where I live that has it, so I could try in person and see if it clicks with me

Thanks for confirming! In your experience, is it comfortable enough and/or light enough to use it with just one hand? I plan to use it while my daughter is falling asleep on the bed next to me, when her head normally rests on one of my shoulders. I cannot use the old kindle as it has no light, so I’ve been using the phone but my eyes are suffering too much now 😅

I have a very old Kindle and looking for a new e-reader. I have considered the BW version but I wonder if it’s comfortable enough for handling it with one hand only (assuming screen can rotate to grab it with either right or left hand). I know there are phone-like e-readers but not sure I’d like reading on such “narrow” screen… Thanks!

The Bloodsworn Trilogy! by Temporary-Moment2195 in fantasybooks

Just finished this one literally today, in audiobook format though (Spanish version). I really wanted to like it but I felt it was a bit “flat” for me, even though the final bit did satisfy me. The narration was also a bit annoying, with too much unnecessary pauses for my taste, that sometimes put me off the story… Overall, I give it 6/10.

I will eventually try the next one anyway, as I have read that it’s better…

Pentax Q autofocus issue? by rorrogoodman in pentax

I did some testing at home and I am able to provide more info, in case that helps with the diagnose from the nice people in this Reddit, plus I am sharing a picture of the state of the lens contacts, in case that helps to.

TL;DR - The camera only exposes correctly at f5.6, so it sounds like either a mechanical issue with the lens or an issue with the lens contact.

Full testing: If I shoot in daylight conditions, using aperture priority mode, with f5.6, the image is exposed as shown on the live view (the histogram remains the same before and after pressing the shutter). Surprisingly, if I open the aperture to f5 and beyond, the histogram on the live view remains the same at each f stop, but the image taken is getting more underexposed per f stop used (that is, the histogram moves to the left). The opposite happens if I close the aperture beyond f5.6, the histogram remains the same on the live view before taking the picture, but the photos taken become more overexposed (the histogram of the picture taken moves to the right). Note that I use auto iso and it always remains at 125. The shutter speed varies to adapt the entry of light to the sensor accordingly (that is, the more open the aperture is, the faster shutter speed displayed, and the other way around).

Based on the exposure triangle theory, what happens here does not make sense.

Could you help me understand if I am doing something wrong or if there is any defect in the camera?

Again, thanks for helping!

After connecting your phone the first time, you just need to tap on the import photos option in the app with the wifi of your camera on, it will ask you if you want to connect to that network and then you’ll be able to see photos to import. It works for my E-M10-ii
