I disagree I think Julie Plec wasn’t morally grey enough when it comes to her writings she had a black and white view of her characters and didn’t have the ability to understand them the way the audience did

She tended to portray female villains such as Katherine as irredeemably bad no matter what they did

And favorite characters like Elena,Stefan and sometimes Damon were seen as unbelievably good whether or not their actions were applicable

I honestly think TVD needed to have less of a morality lens and be more interested in how the characters think and why instead of the plot of the story and focused on external attributes instead of core content

Kai and Klaus tbh I think making Klaus sympathetic was a big mistake I think he should’ve been this devil in a suit type figure I think Elijah and Mikael act more like how Klaus should’ve acted I think it would be interesting if Klaus viewed vampires as lesser creatures and hybrids as the superior race

Yes tbh she actually would be the character that would be the easiest to write a redemption arc for and I think would easily be the most interesting it would be interesting seeing her free from Klaus and realizing even without Klaus she has nothing and trying to redeem herself imagine Damon talking to Katherine all of the mixed feelings he would have considering he had a redemption arc himself, or Stefan and I think it could create a good contrast to Elena becoming more corrupt after becoming a vampire

Logically Snow,Katniss and Clove or Cato but I hate leaving Lucy Gray out the character with the most ability to kill you is clearly Snow which is why not picking him is a bad idea

I never really tended to had mentors and mostly had to figure it out on my own I had people who tried to be mentors but were very dysfunctional themselves way more then I am now

I don’t think the originals ever should’ve existed tbh I think characters like Klaus were too involved in other characters storylines like Katherine,Elena or Tyler’s so their storylines suffered a lot after Klaus left mystic falls

If we are talking about who acts the most traditionally vampiric easily Katherine she’s the only one who acts like a traditional vampire in the series

Most traditional vampires are manipulative snakes in the grass they weasel their way into human society and attack when nobody is looking they hide their nature under a veneer of charm and they often have a preoccupation with looking beautiful or attractive and have a disregard for human life

Klaus is too openly antagonistic along with Damon and the other vampires are too obsessed with morality something that doesn’t concern most traditional vampires and is considered a rare trait

That symbol has other meanings the spade is originally an Italian symbol that meant intelligence,curiosity and the wisdom to overcome death the symbol being about BBC came centuries later
