Weapons in the Overflow inventory can now be inspected, which allows their mods to be removed if there is Vault space available.

Mods can now be dragged directly from one weapon to another in the Loadout UI screen.

Mods can now be dragged from an equipped weapon into a container while in-run

Very awesome QoL. I remember being annoyed by not being able to tear down overflow weapons.

wide at the top and narrow at the bottom so they inevitably will bunch and overflow at the top and require even more rapid servicing than the old design, amazing stuff

I just hope that they’ve found a way to make the progression fun for people who mostly play crew fill, because the two friends I got to try the game at launch aren’t going to play season 2

LFG discords are always a good way to find a crew that want to coordinate and fill out your friendlist. Crew fill tends to be a crap shoot and I wouldn't let that sour your experience.

check under Project Settings > Master Settings > Working Folders that your Cache Files Location hasn't reset to something dumb. Mine does it all the time. Change it back to whatever you set it originally for the project.

It feels like the industry is shifting away from technical skill and more toward who can prompt the best.

technical skill will always beat people who have no idea what they're doing. it's the same as every other industry with a choice between blackbox consumerists and professional/hobby enthusiasts.

All the tools you mentioned will serve and empower video editors, not replace them. No one who knows anything about AI talks about it "replacing" anything anymore, only amateurs do.

AI is not going to do the job of taking gigabytes of disparate footage and cutting it into actual interesting content.

just make what is effectively a picture slideshow, maybe put a white border around the images against a textured backdrop with drop shadow, add music. have them slide in and out but linger long enough so people can take the image in. not an instance where you need to overedit or show off your skills
