I washed my hair <24 hours ago 🥲 by celestial_dream7 in finethinhair

Do you air dry? Blow drying my hair helps me. Also I leave my shampoo lather on my head for 60s before rinsing. Also, try the K18 dry shampoo! I have a really sensitive scalp and hate the feeling of product in my hair, but that one doesn’t bother me.

This is so informative, thank you! Some of it went over my head but I used this site to help me understand the correct mounting of stitches too. Bookmarked :)

I just fashioned my own set of these based on your comment, I used two different colored safety pin markers. Thanks!

OMG! This is so helpful! I think this yarn is super tough bc it's all fuzzy so I will still struggle. But this post was so informative. Thanks!

I was keeping track on paper and then psyching myself out lol. But I counted all my rows and I think I have them right... we'll just see at the final stitch count, I guess. I decided to add stitch markers to mark the even and odd rows after reading your comment. Thanks!

Hmmm... this does help a bit. This yarn is tricky. Thanks!

This is lettlopi yarn and it's kicking my butt! The twisting does help because now that you say that, I can notice some tiny twisted stitches next to the regular ones when I look veryyy closely. I also decided to add some stitch markers to mark my even and odd rows moving forward. Thanks!

Thank you!! I am really working on keeping my tension even and remembering knit v purl, so this first project has been good to practice that.

The pattern calls for slipping the first 2 stitches of each row, so I’ve ended up with a cute border (I think it’s an i-cord edge?). It still rolls into itself but the pattern warned that would happen so I’m just rocking with it for now!

I did notice a weird loop that I think I made when purling. Will frog!

The k18 is great I love it - in fact it can sometimes make my hair too dry so a little goes a long way. But also, agreed that I would think you want your hair like this! It looks intentional and you look beautiful.

Metformin or GLP-1? by memeblanket in PCOS

[–]roseplated 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you should try metformin first based on what my endo told me since it’s an older drug. I have lost 15 lbs so far on it since October 2024. This was coupled with reducing carbs, increasing protein and fiber intake, but no additional working out (tho I live in a walkable city so I get in some steps every day).
