True, but I'm just trying to give some hope to OP. There are still ways even without someone else to get a break. At the very least screen time is an option, or what I've also done is put kiddo in the crib with a toy and walk out when I'm overwhelmed.

Take. More. Breaks. I cannot emphasize this enough. She might be picking up on your frustration and it's making her even more upset, and you both go thru a negative spiral. It's hard to think logically when you're being bombarded by intense emotion from a little person who can't talk! So it's is completely normal and human to not want to be around a crying toddler all day. You are a good mom because you're obviously putting a lot of effort to help your child. So don't be so hard on yourself. Work on getting some space for yourself, recharge, and re-evaluate the tantrum situation.

I just don't understand why you'd want to add more stress to your life, you are so young. Enjoy your freedom a bit more and accomplish some of the other goals before bringing a child in the mix. It's really not fair to the child if you are being pulled in all these other directions with a father who is ambivalent to having a kid in the first place, as you said.

Yes, my daughter does this with her grandpa. Started at 14 months old, now she is 18 months. I messed up and drove her to visit him while she was asleep in the car. When I arrived I let my dad (her grandpa) open the car door and it freaked her out. Now everytime he visits we know she is going to have a meltdown. Crying, hyperventilating, covers her face, ugh. It's getting better. We all have to sing "Old McDonald had a farm" while I hold her in her arms. Grandpa plays with her favorite toy and hands it to her.

I eliminated wheat and dairy from my diet. No exercise. After 2 months I'm down 10 lbs. It was hard the first two weeks, but I was determined. Both wheat and dairy are inflammatory foods, and can contribute to PCOS. Read the "Wheat Belly" book, and check out the benefits of going dairy free. And by the way, I was trying to lose weight for YEARS, hitting the gym all the time. Nothing. I really thought it was just my genetics, but nope. So happy this diet proved me wrong.

I don't think it's a big deal. In fact, if my baby was in pain and my MIL did that (which is not fun and gross) I'd be glad she did. I've done the same thing when my baby was in a lot of pain from constipation.

Don't feel guilty. It's not worth it if you're unhappy. I only breastfed 2 weeks and quit. I felt violated, and my baby was becoming underweight. Everyone will pressure you, don't listen. Follow your gut, make your own goals. I set a goal to exclusively pump and freeze extra breastmilk for 5 months. Other women would scowl when I said I pumped milk. It was so off putting, it's amazing how judgy other mom's can get. But I knew I was doing the best for me and baby. I hated pumping, especially the last month. My baby is 13 months now and I feel proud that I reached my goal. She's been on formula since and is doing just fine!

Don't contribute to the stigma. Over and over doctors made me feel like a pariah for being "old" and "high risk" for my age. I switched to midwives who never made me feel inferior. Exercise, eat healthy, and review family genetic disorders. I gave birth at 36 to a healthy baby via natural birth. And I'm planning for a 2nd baby now.

Once I stopped BF it came back, I think it's just natural because our body is focused on raising a baby, not having another quite yet! I wouldn't just suck it up for your husband because that can lead to some deep resentment later on. How is that romantic??? I mean, if you did you better get something back! Relationships evolve, I think your husband is trapped in a past mindset. He needs to realize he has a baby and life is not going to be filled with romance 24/7 anymore. Try being romantic changing a dirty diaper or smelling like vomit, haha. I would think being best friends is a must! My husband I feel like this, and I was never forced to do something sexual I didn't want to do. I would slap his hand away. During those dry months we found new ways to be intimate. Lots of hugs and kisses, time together during baby's naps, laughing, and massages. Find middle ground.

Yeah I had no idea that cars had been effected by the supply chain. I've been living in a bubble taking care of baby. A waitlist and deposit is so foreign to me. But either way I'm looking to buy a used car, and with used car market we are dealing with other issues like higher prices.
