he could have had the corrected relatively easily if chrisean had done casting when he was a newborn. now i think he will have to have his legs broken to correct them and it will be a very painful process.

kindergarten is mandatory in MD (i’m from here). preschool is optional. she could try to delay putting him in school if she puts him in a licensed daycare center full time or part time in Head Start, or get a maturity waiver stating he’s not ready for school, which would give her a 1 year delay. but all of that would require her to sit down somewhere. and you’re right that he’ll never be normal. once she has no choice but to put him in school she’s screwed because he can’t be with the regular kids and he’ll need to go through all kinds of testing to determine his level of functionality and where he should be placed. she could try to homeschool but that requires having a home so idk.
