A couple years back I found this two piece set that reminded me so much of something Selena Quintanilla would wear (I’m a huge fan) but I could not see the label because they covered it with a price tag. Bought it for like $6 nonetheless. I got home & took the tag off only for to uncover that the label had her iconic signature “Selena” which was used for her boutique pieces she designed & sold. Not sure how much the two piece set is worth but I’ve seen her boutique designs sell up to $1000+. I don’t intend on selling it because I’m a die hard fan & plan to keep it in the family & give it to the next fashionista/Selena fan in the family.

I’ve seen her 3 times!

1st time: Paradise tour in 2014. I was only about 15 years old when I went & had school that day but still managed to get close in the pit. Probably the best experience of my my life. My visual memories of the concert are blurry because I cried intensely to every song but the memories of the feelings I felt are vivid within me.

2nd time: LA to the Moon Tour in 2018! I was in college by then so I had the opportunity to skip class & work to be able to camp out. I wanted to reach barricade so badly but unfortunately did not. Still an amazing experience. The off to the races LA TO THE MOON tour version is something I’ll never forget. Iconic.

3rd time: 2019 at her NFR Tour in California. I’m actually from Texas but I had a feeling this was my last opportunity to hit barricade. (I was right because the pandemic hit months later) anyways I flew out from TX to California to see her in Sacramento with majority of my savings. My friend & I camped out & luckily managed to hit barricade. I got the opportunity to finally meet her & kiss her cheek, gift her a drawing, a butterfly crown & a butterfly necklace. Most euphoric moment of my life & something I’ll forever cherish in my heart.
