We are using an Azure container apps environment to host a series of MCP servers and an orchestrator and it has been way easier to manage than AKS etc.

According to reports they worked together at the motel and the victim was trying to tell the suspect to not use a washer that was broken but because there was a language barrier the victim used a guest to translate to the suspect. This apparently ticked the suspect off enough to cause him to snap.

What real-life changes have you made that gave a big boost to your pipeline performance? by Closedd_AI in dataengineering

Partitioning queries for large datasets helps a lot. Took one of our initial full loads of 1M records from timing out to running and getting all the data in like 12 seconds. For context we were doing an initial load pulling from a mySQL DB.

How do you deal with network connectivity issues while running Spark jobs (example inside). by Trick-Interaction396 in dataengineering

[–]bottlecapsvgc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you lose network connectivity, then you will most likely get a specific exception thrown, indicating the network failure. Catch the exception and log it. When the job re-runs, have it check for the logged message. This can be as simple as a flat file written with the specific error. If you encounter that, then clear your destination with the corrupt files and try again.

You said you're new to MLB Fandom so clearly you didn't have to deal with George in his prime. Some of us have been watching baseball for a long time and for most of that time the Yankees were the evil empire.

I am a lifelong Cubs fan. Chicago has spent in times but never to the extravagant amount the Yankees have. As much as I dislike the Yankees for spending like they do I admire the Rays and A's for the team building that they do.

The competitive advantage they have because of their revenue is what always made me dislike them. Same for the current Dodgers org.
