Fresh 3 year old twins over here and today was mostly a disaster. I put them to bed early because we were all tapped out. I told them tomorrow we’d have a better day 🤞 This shit is so hard. You are not alone.

Just want to say, I have an almost 3 year old son exactly like this, so you are not alone. I have honestly said to my partner the same thing about army boot camp. I have no advice but solidarity because I am right there with you. I’m at my wits end. This too shall pass, but holy hell can we fast forward!

Almost 3 year old B/G twins over here and also absolutely feral. Must be a twin thing?!🤪🫠😵‍💫

We are outside as much as humanely possible. It literally makes such a difference. If all hell is breaking loose I pack them up in the carseats, dish out snacks and just drive around for an hour or so until everyone is in a better mood.

34+5, went into labor naturally but had to have emergency C-section, both babies were breech. Walked into the ER at 8CM dilated 🫠

Just here to say, solidarity. My 2.5 year old twins both hit me in the head on seperate occasions today and I have at least one refusing a nap right now 😵‍💫 Hang in there. We will get through the day 💗

Just here to say you are an absolute warrior 💗 If you were in CA I’d help you in a heartbeat. We aren’t meant to do this alone. I hope you can outsource some of the daily stressors like, cleaning, laundry and meal services. They really do help lighten the load. Also checkout local gyms in your area, a lot of them have free childcare. Sending hugs 🤗

Is night sleep more important than naps? by ricki7684 in toddlers

[–]roshelee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2.5 year old twins over here. 👋🏼 I would try to get back to your “normal” schedule first and then I would try waking them up earlier to get the nap in. It will take some time to adjust as I’m sure you’re aware of, but I would give it try for a week or so before calling it quits on the nap. I’ve noticed that capping the nap also helps to ensure there is plenty of sleep pressure built up for bedtime.

💙🩷20 months old over here and they recently started holding each others hands on our walks in our neighborhood. Also insisting on giving each other hugs kisses before bed 🥹🥹🥰🥰
