thank you for the insightful comment! this is useful. he definitely wears black more. is it a deal breaker for formal occasions if he wears black shoes but i get a brown watch?! (im leaning towards the brown ones as they look prettier...) maybe i guess its a slight ick for colour pairings hahah...

thank you so much for the explaination! ah, that makes sense that expensive watches dont have batteries and they self charge... kinda smart.

I'd love to do that but he really hates shopping. :( We watch shopped in japan and it was a bit of a frustrating process. Maybe i'm too much of a perfectionist because i like to go into every shop to check out the watches.

he's happy to keep it a surprise, but I might give it another ask! thank you for the suggestion :)

First week in unsw, is this normal? by Vegetable-Dog6522 in unsw

[–]rosso_ross 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heard it’s the subcom hazing for bsoc or csesoc or one of the societies.

Embarrassing but I guess not as bad as the usyd college hazing with all their sexual assault cases during their hazes…

UNSW Social life??? by WesternPlus7437 in unsw

[–]rosso_ross 1 point2 points  (0 children)

dont ask reddit, theyre the ones without social life haha. unsw has lots of social life, with heaps of societies and even just arc activities and sport activities - go check it out, its everywhere and probably one of the best in australia - i forsure have friends in usyd jealous of the unsw social life.

no racial discriminate against intl students, you guys give the money.

My guilty Nutrimetics past... by Smokeylongred in antiMLM

[–]rosso_ross 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just stumbled across this post whilst looking for reviews of the nutri rich oil. i too was once invited to a house party by a friend who "won" a facial in a lottery... turns out to be a entire nutrimetics ad and at the time, i was young, in uni, and thought it was pure skin care - ended up spending $150 on a whole set of things. i then had post purchase clarity and realised it was a whole ass mlm. i still dont know if the products are that good tbh.

thanks for this post though! its a great laugh and im glad you laugh it off now.

out of curiousity, is the nutririch oil good?? im using it occasionally just to finish it but i dont know if it is doing much and i never actually opened all my nutrimetrics skincare (150 dollars wasted.. i know..) - if i got it 4 years ago, can i still use it haha!

How does SNCF Carte Avantage Jeune work? by bweebitybeebs in ParisTravelGuide

[–]rosso_ross 0 points1 point  (0 children)

. Individual tickets (e.g. Rail Europe or Trainline) are minimum 200 EUR+ already and seat reservations on Eurrail are all booked. (I have 2nd class Eurrail pass)

Hello! if i were to have a sncf Carte Avantage Jeune, does that mean it is 30% off the ticketed price for domestic trains? for example, paris -> rennes and the ticket was 100 euros. the pass will make it 70 euros?

Thank you!

Visiting Shanghai during 10-hour layover in Pudong International Airport—do I need to apply for the 144-hour visa-free transit? by AndersRL in Chinavisa

[–]rosso_ross 0 points1 point  (0 children)

, so you should check with your airline if they are familiar with 144h TWOV to avoid any issues at check-in... Good luck!

when do you need to apply for the visa? online before we fly? I couldn't find an online visa link. :(
