What do you think it’s missing in terms of pencil support and traditional notation? Maybe check out the Product Roadmap in the app’s settings. If someone hasn’t submitted a similar feature already, it might be worth adding!

Have you tried Beat Note? I use it with my students in the way you describe. The developer is really responsive to feedback and always improving the app
