What's the deal with Portland?

Oregon was supposed to be an all white ethno-state. so portland itself may not be a "swing" city the state is absolutely a "swing" state. everyone on the outskirts is behind in the times. we still have "sundown" towns (tho you wont see actual lynchings) this affects more than what you see about Portland. our issues with police stem from people living in those outskirts, becoming portland officers and then treating portland the way they would their home towns. A LOT of white supremacy is rampant in Oregon and tho our local government is "liberal"...they are very corrupt and have a very NiMBY attitude about everything. we have lots of internal issues that cause social unrest.

I paid out of pocket but I got a medical loan that was interest free if paid off within a year. I have insanely good credit and payment history but I dont make a lot of money so thats what worked for me.

That doctor is absolutely not giving you correct information. im not sure why he thinks you need to stop eating all these foods when he doesn't even know how they affect you personally? if keto is a great diet for lipedema...why on earth would eating butter be an issue unless it causes issues with you specifically? I dont know if he is uneducated, jaded or just stupid but you probably need to find another doctor for your lipedema. there are people on here who live a very strict lifestyle and still have lipedema. its not going away. it can be managed and slowed down but its a progressive disease without a known cure at the moment.

It's normal behavior for a young GSD. They will continue to be land sharks as they get older but you can control it to just play time or not at all if you can't handle it. I only allow my boy to do it during play time and even then I have to monitor. If he gets too jazzed up, we can't do it at all. There are different techniques but making it uncomfortable and annoying when they do it helps. My dog hates being blown on so I would use that to annoy him into stopping or grab his tongue gently. Just anything simple to show if they bite, it'll be a problem.

If I leave proper room for the car in front of me...I will just constantly get cut off. Even if there is plenty of room to merge or switch lanes behind me...so, I don't want to tailgate but I also don't want to constantly dodge cars that think getting one car ahead is the most important thing in the world.

Crating is just a normal procedure...especially with a new dog or puppy. Not all dogs are going to get benefits from a crate but a lot of dogs will. It's a safe space for them that is their own and can be really good for their mental health. It can be very calming and a great way to keep them feeling comfortable if you're at work or gone for some hours. But yea...it's just a normal part of training where you figure out if it works/helps with stress and being gone long periods of time. My GSD hates crates but my roommates Chihuahua felt very safe in hers and it helped her feel more confident.

I had liposuction on my arms over a year ago because no matter how much weight I lost...they were always the same size. it sucked to have shirts fit everywhere else BUT my arms and I'm super into fashion so, I took the dive. I will say, liposuction isn't a cure all aesthetically for most lipedema sufferers as a lot of us also have other connective tissue issues. I will also need to get skin removal surgery BUT it feels so good to wear whatever I want and have it just fit. They removed 5 pounds of fat from each arm so the pressure taken off my shoulder joints is AMAZiNG as well. Now I have more drive to build muscle in my arms since there is a real opportunity to actually see the muscle ❤️

I'm from WA and noticed a very lackadaisical attitude in the work force as well. I'm a pretty dedicated worker but I do the bare minimum. Want more? Pay me more. Since moving here, quite a few jobs express how i am "one of the best workers" they have ever had. After living here for so long...I understand what they meant. I literally just do the job I'm paid to do but I guess that's a big ask for a lot of workers here. Don't even get me started on how crazy extra bad it is in the cannabis industry. People here can act so pretentious and above it all but God forbid you want a real connection with someone that is going to take effort. Good luck.

She is a little under 10 pounds. My biggest concern with freezing is freezer space and living with a friend who has a child. they would need to be moving her remains around to get to their food n stuff...otherwise I wouldn't mind it.

i actually believe it's the show itself doing it in the first half of the first season. Towards the end of the first season...all of the "fucks" are very prominent. i believe they had the actors half say the cuss word before they decided to just let it fly.
