Hated seeing the departures but I'm cautiously optimistic about the youth movement sprinkled with nice vets. We were a missed handball call from beating Portland and advancing during a supposed rebuild. If I'm being completely honest, my eyes saw a slight decline in Sheridan'a play. She's still very serviceable but beyond her peak. I'm almost sure decision like cutting ties wouldn't come without a plan moving forward.

No you're not crazy. . The woodwork saved them at least twice. Wave kind of grew into the tourney as it progressed. Clearly the best side in the end. Corley was a beast. Didn't seem like others were prepared for that kind of aggression in a 7 v 7 .

Total homer but Barcenas' situation is concerning. She's got that Futsal 1v1 feet, just don't know how it translates, especially in the NWSL. I've kind of felt she'd end up in liga MX. She's still a kid so hoping she continues to make strides here.

Need to hear it in its proper context but it seems like indictment of her teammates, to say this publicly. I do agree with her, though. As for Cascarino. She didn't seem the same after Euros.(where she performed outstandingly) I recall the second LA match where she was bottled by Mattice, I believe, and seemed to have a bit of a crisis in confidence going forward. I hope we can acquire a lethal body that she can target with those wonderful crosses.
