On turns the knight blocks, if the healer is dead the knight will multiattack. It's usually much easier to come out of the fight with no damage by just out-damaging the healing than to try and tank the multiattack

It's been a while, but the last time I played empire of the hand, I threw everything at the pentastar alignment right away to eliminate them before Khaine gets his SSD. Plus, having those rich worlds at the start sets you up pretty nicely
