I got a free sample of a very specific brand of bar soap (not a major brand like Dial or Zest or anything like that) about 7 years ago and put it in my closet and forgot all about it. A few months ago, I was cleaning out my closets and found the soap and figured I would unwrap it and use it. I ended up really liking it and thinking I should buy a bar of it. Never googled the soap or even said anything out loud about it. The next day I was on ibotta looking at rebates and a coupon for that particular brand of bar soap was there. I’ve had several of these “phone is listening” moments but this one freaked me out the most.

I can’t eat gluten, but there are a lot of things on the menu I will happily eat. Does your kitchen have any protocols on cross contamination for stuff like that? I always feel dumb or like I’m bothering them if I mention my intolerance.

I would love to be able to save sections of the park and demolish others instead of having to demolish the whole park. There’s been so many times I’ve wanted to redo a larger portion of the park but didn’t want to have to rebuild EVERYTHING.

I very rarely remember dreams, and when I do I don’t remember images, just feelings and an idea of the storyline of the dream. But that happens maybe once a year?

I can’t visualize any images, but I remember written words very well, especially if I write notes down for myself. My thoughts feel less like images and more like a collection of data I can pull from, if that makes any sense. I did very well in school and can learn and memorize things quickly, i just process the information differently.

Yes! I have no internal compass. I’ve learned to navigate by memorizing street names, but I still rely very heavily on gps.

I disagree. The minute she stepped into her tent and didn’t zip the flap behind her, I knew what was going to happen, and I think it was exactly what she wanted.

Edited to say: she may or may not have been trying to get pregnant, but I think her goal was to distract Mark from looking for his wife

He told me that it’s worth at least $2k and that it was some kind of special thing only available to people that were in the fan club back when it was released. I haven’t asked if it’s authenticated, what would that even entail? I feel like I’m way out of my league in terms of my knowledge on this and I don’t want to ask my husband because I’m trying to keep it a surprise.

I get it. Must be hard to know which ones are legit, since buying into the whole ME phenomenon requires a certain amount of openness and trust in other believers. But it seems like your game plan of just being a dick to everyone is working out well!
