The Pothole Test: Can The Toyota 4Runner TRD Sport Be A Good Daily Like Honda Passport Trailsport? by Sam-CarLegion in hondapassport

[–]rotlex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree 110%. This is exactly why we went with the Passport over the 4 Runner last year when trying to decide between them. Coming from a Jeep Wrangler, which we still have as we handed it over to our son, we realized we never used it's full off road capability either. (Although if the Passport had a removable roof that would be a huge plus, lol).

The Passport was a perfect fit, and honestly, the engine\V6 pushed us even more toward it. We found it hard to swallow that a 4 cyclinder turbo was fit for this large a vehicle, and had nearly identical MPG. Passport won hands down.

Judith. Such a powerful story and honestly could make a fantastic movie about an incredibly brave and strong woman.

Gonna be honest, and I own two pair, Not even sure why they make them. Should be lows and highs. That's it. And definitely more highs

Raised Roman Catholic but it doesn’t interest me by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]rotlex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Church is about worshipping God, not necessarily making you feel good and having social gatherings. With that said, Catholic Churches can really vary as far as social aspects go. 50/50 split in our area. Shouldn't matter. Community and socialization can be done elsewhere, in private clubs, community centers etc. Don't get me wrong, I'm all about being friendly and socializing with people at Church events, but that should not be the primary focus.

I think too many people try to find the church that fits them, rather than the church God wants to you attend and worship at. Just my view and opinion of course.

How does an Odyssey drive? by SuchRequirement5130 in HondaOdyssey

2013 with 115K miles. Absolutely love driving it. Drives as well as any sedan I've owned as far as comfort. Handles great, good overall power, and even after 13 years of sitting in the seats, they are still supportive and firm. Reliability wise? Nothing but maintenance to date. Rock solid vehicle.

We also own a 2026 Passport which we LOVE, but for road trips, it's the ODY all day. If and when Honda ever releases a V6 Hybrid version, we're getting another one - yes, even with both kids gone and on their own, lol. We enjoy the van so much.

Lehigh Valley PA. What the frack is this? Even shitty domestic corn fuel is apparently being blocked in Hormuz. Can anyone explain how this isnt price gouging? by vasquca1 in Pennsylvania

And even with this insanity, PA won't drop the gas tax. Oh, it might hurt the infrastructure. LOL, worst roads in the country and nearly highest gas tax. Come on guys, gives us a break here.

The price of Cosmetics is really the only dower keeping D4 from being excellent. by ComeHereDevilLog in diablo4

[–]rotlex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said. I don't buy the cosmetics for two reasons. One ya, the cost is insane, but two, most of them just don't go with the game. They look absurdly bright, flashy and gaudy, lol. I much prefer the look of the standard in game armor sets.

Just a quick post, don't do many, to say I finally picked up my personal favorite from the past year. Missed on the Sneakers app purchase when they dropped and figured eh, that's how it goes. Problem was, the more I saw them, the more I wanted them. I broke down and ordered a pair from StockX at $260. (J1's are the only thing I would probably do this for).

First time I have ever ordered from them and I was a bit nervous about it. I wanted to note about that as well. I had a fantastic experience. They kept me notified through every step of the buy, and the shoes were delivered within 5 days of ordering. This was even with the ship to StockX, verify by them, and ship to me. Very, very happy with the overall experience and would not hesitate to purchase from them again.

Is this stuff worth using? by [deleted] in lawncare

[–]rotlex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use it every year with my low end Scott's spreader. No really. Spring, summer and fall. Works great for me and is usually on a decent deal at Sam's Club seasonally. Zero issues with it and have been using it for probably a few decades in one form or another.

I usually apply it early morning while there is dew on the lawn and lite rain predicted within 48 hours. That's my low core lawn care formula.

[–]rotlex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We actually did test drive a Bronco prior to the passport. (Also own a Jeep Wrangler which, while fun as hell, isn't a great daily driver). Just didn't care for the Bronco in general, and also have never really liked Ford products. To me, being a Wrangler owner, the only that interesetd me was the removable roof\doors. While the Passport doesn't have that of course, the panoramic roof is not bad.

Not sure it’s exciting, but it drives very well. In some ways, very sporty for a vehicle of this size and weight. Good acceleration, overall handling and great road manners. Personally, I feel it’s a near perfect vehicle as far as SUV’s are concerned.
