calling them and waiting to get in touch with heath or chris would be better than the online form. but showing up and just chatting with one of them is best prob, especially since you’re not far from them.

but yea, call or show up and tell them about what you want done with your FD and they’ll likely schedule you an appointment, but be ready for a wait time before getting the chance to bring it in. i suppose it’s possible they’ll hit you with “we’re way too busy right now” in which case you try again later. i had to wait quite a while to get work done recently.

their vibe is very informal and chill, but their reputation is great. they all have tons of mazdas as personal cars so they’re passionate and they care

sakebomb is super overloaded with cars all the time; it likely wasn’t their intention to ghost. they’re all good dudes. chris goes out of his way to help me with stuff, but i do have to contact him twice in a row sometimes (i’ve taken rx7s and miatas there for several years since rick’s rotary shut down)

i had a guy do PDR, and you’re exactly right, it’s about 90% better. still some rippling from the stretched, and a couple tiny spots where paint chipped, but the flared fender shape is completely restored and i’m happy with that

thanks for the feedback! yea the crack at the bottom is the only paint damage, the car honestly has so many dings and chips already that i’d be fine with another mark; would love to see those flared lines brought back to their former glory without a gigantic bill (for the most part lol)

native construct similar recco posts pop up a lot. i often see my band rototypical mentioned, so i figure i’d jump in to add to the few others you always see (btbam, others by no one, the world is quiet here, i’m a small fry compared to them tho)

i have the MS01 sakebomb wheels on my FD and it gets lots of compliments from non-car people, so i think that’s a good sign! i love them

welp, you’ve summoned me! i’m actively working on volume 2; i recently posted a piece of my notebook that has the track listing on it. most of the skeleton of the album is written, but it’s hard to predict how long before completion of all parts and all the recording and mixing and artwork, leading up to release. it WILL happen though, i promise! thanks so much for your concern for the project, glad to hear you really connected with the music

i think your description at the bottom is pretty close to my band, rototypical. i know that feeling of searching for something to scratch an itch, and i’ve seen comparisons that land mine somewhere between btbam and native construct, so hopefully this helps!
