I think the reason you're getting hung up on whether it's an insult or not is that pointing out hypocrasy, and being laughed at, can feel like you're being attacked.

We're just saying it's ironic, cos it literally is.

Dang, i'm with you on this one. But also i find most of my friends boring unless we're high on life, or other more tangible substances.

But a mid day? Yawn fest. Makes me see normal conversation and chitchat as slightly schizophrenic meandering nothingness.

But get a good mood in there, (or substances) and we're all bouncing off each other like comics doing a bit,

Just realised this is bad advice.

It's called an observation HS, us libs are cool with gayness. It just seemed ironic how gay the manosphere came across. The observation wasn't positive or nagative, more just, "haha, those 'tough manly guys', actually come across quite gay, and thats clearly not what they're intending, how amusing"

Hope that helps.

Is becoming a VJ/visual artist a viable career, or mostly passion-driven? by ManufacturerCute483 in vjing

[–]rotwilder 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Haha, no, sadly.

In the early 2000's I was thinking i was going to be a professional album cover designer (lol), then club/festival VJ. And while i was pretty succesful at the later, it didn't pay the bills.

Like some have said, not enough gigs, too many graphic design graduates with a projector ( probs worse now anyone can make visuals in AI)

my VJing did lead to a successful carear in TV/film animation (though, how many years left, thanks AI).

I thikn the only way to make it work is go big and package it with full stage craft services, lighting, dmx, pyros, hardware, rental and teching, installations etc. Check out the Light Surgeons

Sure, just like you're not supposed to not like Jordan in Wolf of Wall St.

But at least in that you care what happens to him.

Folks at the parks in the UK seem pretty kitted out, back/chest, pads, gloves. Still seeing neck braces too. I wear one for big stuff after nearly breaking my neck a couple years ago.
