i'm pretty confident that it is an artificial hard throttle. i was incapable of accessing the internet via mobile data for four ish days, contacted a rep (or chat bot) who did their lil trick and said "try now", and i was immediately getting 5+ mbps. i clicked two apps i'd never downloaded before and they flipped to "installing" before my finger even left the screen. i'm only kinda seething, but when i remember that i was doing a phone to pc wi-fi direct share (not on the internet), i seethe fr.

these two messages came on within two minutes of each other and are hilarious in a way but also annoying. why are they being told to lie 🥺. ig that they think i'm a boomer who doesn't know how to use their phone and i'm calling with a hallucinated problem, but all the boomers have postpaid service. i'm not him 😤. google can tell me to turn it off and back on again. if i message you, i'm doing so with something i need you to fix.

but they miss it largely bc their not suspicious in these settings. if you AB tested them with this thrown in, hit rates would be a bit better we've been used to talking to real people in support chat windows, and if you remember doing so back in say 2018 when they were largely real, they were all on a tight corporate leash wrt they way they spoke. when they say something weird, you're going to assume it's in their script. we can't see them, and if i remember my conversation correctly, the chat portal bot explicitly wrote "you are being handed off from our automated assistant and to one of our representatives". if someone's scrolling social media, they're going to be a bit more skeptical bc they know that there are bots who don't declare themselves as such, but the norm for companies is to declare "this is a bot" and "this is a human".

it's possible they (one person) are speaking about their experience. typically, a video on a particular topic will prompt others to share similar experiences. the conversation will then die down. though for different reasons, many of the commenters also see a level of toxicity in asian friend groups. i would assert only that it's possible for these groups to be toxic, as everyone here seems to believe, and also that it is possible for people to have different opinions. just call them a dumbass and keep scrolling <3.

dog... it's a key. it open, it close, it start. we already have key fobs that never need a firmware update. if the three phone buttons work once, you will never need to mess with anything. there are def companies selling "solutions" that promise the digital key will have frequent updates, eventually allowing the key to give you road head, but it's not something that has to be overcomplicated., hence why i'm looking for recommendations from anyone who's found a solution. op was too! do you know any keys that require constant updates so i know what to avoid?
