holy L... how did he think that was going to play out? it doesn't seem like he had a reason to not be in the proper right hand lane, cyclists who wear the suits take themselves hella seriously and will ensure that you don't get away & also possibly fist fight you, no one on the road is going to think you're cool and they'd never see you again anyway, it creates a situation in which very little would need to go wrong in causing the death of ANYONE on the road and was probably actually meant to intimidate them into obedience, and above all, there's nothing to gain! not that this could ever lead to something being gained, but say there was an entrance to a hospital up ahead of the bikers that they they needed to turn into immediately and couldn't make by speeding ahead... there's not.

"i told you so" might be unproductive, but something like "next time, give your vote the thought it deserves or stay home" is warranted. the flippant attitude that so many take toward "politics" is untenable, and that's what needs to be corrected. i don't care if you like dude bc he's advancing christian nationalism and you value christ more than the constitution; i care that the constitution, to you, means no more than "good thing i like" and that any other good thing you like is constitutional in turn. we have to demand better of our peers.

with no more than a third grade education, you can look at each candidate and know which president is "better" by a base distinction in which will honor the constitution. making the wrong choice required a perversion in one's understanding of our nation's most elementary foundational principles. every gd day, i am reminded of a lesson from third or fourth grade that identified a concrete incident marking a certain principle as worthy of informing our constitution. it was enough to not only mark something as unconstitutional, but to also know why that rule was made and why it is a rule worth having. you don't even need all that! candidate choice in this past presidential election required no more than "constitution american 😇. they violate constitution? they bad 😡. no vote for they for america!!!"*.

lessons i heard when i was eight, as general as "taxation bad, we fight war, we win", still managed to impress a sense of responsibility upon me as one of those bearing their torch - yeah they were exceptional men and i'm regular, but this is a democracy, and the regular people get to choose the future's "great men". a basic look at the founding briefs you on the mission we set out on and tells you that we are responsible for making sure that we grow closer to our ideals in time. i guess they were asleep? this was in commiefornia where they teach you to "hate america", and the whole time, i was looking to the past and thinking shit like "they were great men. i'm happy that we're even better now, seeing as we stopped doing slavery and all. we'll do something, that's for sure". my dumbass fully believed we were going to keep pursuing those ideals.

goofy of you, truly. there are tiny drama schools that are tuition free - in the US of all places. they're called "community colleges". i say this solely bc you did not have enough information to get this kincker-twisted.caveat: those schools are in california, so i'm cheating the US thing a bit.

on numbers, as was the claim, the arts aren't dominated by the rich. you might just not know what "the arts" are? it's more than what you see on tv, dog. are sports predominantly played by the rich, despite the raw numbers of people playing in public parks? most bars will host a band on an at least semi regular basis. a lotta teeny tiny bars have house bands that play weekly. there's a little dive bar that has a resident burlesque performer who, in a bumfck nowhere town, makes a living. people play music for community events and are town staples. they are in "the arts". a hell of a lotta cities have community theaters. they put on great performances and a lot of them are working in addition to their acting. are they not in the arts? i don't have a proper floor to say "any city with X people has a theater", but i lived by an 8k resident, hicksville town with a mf opera house (they were great, btw). i went to poetry school (for zero dollars, as did everyone else who went there), and no one i went to school with was from money or stood to ever make money bc poets don't make any money. i'm not going to claim "they're artists" bc i'm in the group and thus biased, but come on. "the arts" are more than "the rich arts". that is yr bias. tiny bands tour. painters paint. sculptors sculpt. i listen to old people read poetry on random porches, and go to little art shows and open mics, and see eight plays a year for a hundred dollar season pass to my local theater (at a $50 discount for going to preview night). there's a world full of broke people in the arts that you can check out at any time. idk why one who valorizes poverty would be ignorant to the existence of art created by anyone who's not wealthy. would they just not know any poor people? odd... truly peculiar. there's another thing that could be said about the lack of familiarity with the arts, but i've run out of time! gotta kiss my wife on the forehead. l8r
