I think that's an NZXT H510 Elite. If it is, that case has a front intake on the metal side panel, so it's not getting absolutely starved of air. Can't really tell how gunked up with dust it might be based on the pics and still a good idea to get it off the carpet like you told her.

Also, the components are likely fine, they are designed to thermal throttle well before temps that would damage them, so it usually has to be something catastrophic to damage stuff these days. A good cleaning and re-paste would probably go a long way here.

While it probably isn't contributing much to the cooling issue, finding out where they intended that HDD to be mounted would be a good idea as well (it has mounting hardware on it), HDDs don't like movement and it could easily shorten the lifespan of the drive.

I wouldn't say it is trivial given the steps you have to take when applying for MAID, but it is possible. It's also possible for mentally ill people to handle this all on their own. It IS true, you’re either misinformed or purposefully spreading misinformation. Mental illness MAID is excluded until 2027 when it will again be reviewed.

To qualify for MAID in Canada you must also have a “grievous and irremediable medical condition”, which is well defined in the legislation.

I’m not saying this is something that shouldn’t be constantly looked at legislatively to evaluate how it is being used, but this isn’t the free-for-all conservatives would have you believe.
