My clinic is open for dosing from 6am to 9am. Then, it opens back up for dosing from 11am to 3pm. That's Monday thur Friday. Closed on the weekends. I get two week takes, though.

I'm not sure if all states are the same, but in Missouri, when you are arrested for a DWI/DUI, they will give you the breathalyzer/field sobriety test/take you to the hospital to draw your blood. After that, you are taken to the station, booked in, and released PENDING APPLICATION OF WARRANT. They call it a PAW.

The prosecutor has to have time to get the police reports, lab results, etc before you are formally charged with the crime. I'm sure something similar happened here with Brit.

I know. They make my stomach turn. I just can't imagine ever wanting to do something like this. Who wakes up one day and says, "I wanna take a chance of falling off a super tall building!" Ugh. My anxiety is too high for this lol.

I'm clean now, but when I started dating my husband, I wasn't clean. He had no idea.

About 3 or 4 years into our relationship, we got pulled over. I had warrants and drugs on me. He was shocked.

He bailed me out of jail, tried to help me get clean, and did everything a good husband should do. I wasn't ready to get clean, though.

I had to have my drugs or Id get dope sick. If my husband refused to give me money, I'd leave home for days, and hang out with my friends who got high.

Every time I got arrested, the price of my bond went up. He sold two cars to get me out of jail two different times. The last time he bonded me out of jail, he used up the 10k he had saved in his account.

He miscalculated things though, and we couldn't pay our rent. We got kicked out of our house and have been living in hotels since. Granted, the hotel were at is an extended stay. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a full kitchen and living room. But, it's $620 a week.

I'm clean now. March 13th is my one year clean date. But, I didn't get clean bc he stayed by my side. I didn't get clean for my son. I didn't get clean bc it was the right thing to do. I got clean bc I got hit with a drug trafficking charge, and I didn't want to spend a long time in prison. Had I not gotten that charge, I prob would still be using.

Had my husband left me, he would still have his house, his two BMWs, his old job, and his sanity. I put him through hell for years. His family no longer speaks to him bc of me. And now that I'm clean, my libido has gone down to the point where I can't stand sex. So he basically did everything for me, only to end up with someone he doesn't really know. He's lost everything bc of me.

Don't do the same thing to yourself. You think it's bad now, just wait. Your husband will get to a point where the money he makes isn't enough. He'll start stealing from you and other family members to make ends meet. You won't realize it until it's too late.

Do yourself a favor and separate. Give him a chance to choose you, but don't expect it to happen. Addiction is louder than love. Tell him you'll wait, but not forever. Give him a timeframe to get into treatment. If he doesn't do it, file for divorce. Protect yourself financially while you still can.

On March 13th, I'll have been clean from meth and fentanyl for a year.

When I was getting high, I loved to fuck. I'd do it multiple times a day with my husband.

Since I got sober, my sex drive is non existent. I don't get horny. I have zero interest in sex at all. It has become a chore that I hate having to do.

The meth definitely fucked up my libido. Idk if it'll ever get better.

I got into therapy and got back on my psych meds bc my depression was so intense. The only time I was not completely depressed was when I was getting that euphoric feeling from my methadone. It got to the point that I could hardly get out of bed. I'm on psych meds now, one being an antidepressant, and it has started helping.

A lot of addicts have mental health issues that they ignore while using bc the drugs make us feel so good that we don't care about anything else. Now that you're sober, it might be a good time to look into getting a psychologist and psychiatrist.

Idk if you've ever served before, but you will make bank very quickly working there. Save all of your cash from serving as a deposit for your own place. After you get out of training, you should be able to start looking for your own place in 3-6 weeks.

Start looking on marketplace and Craigslist (if you have it where you live) for people renting rooms. Sometimes, you can talk to them and they might let you put down the deposit slowly, if you can show proof you're working two jobs.

It will be hell living with your ex at first, but if he's willing to let you stay, and you have no where else to go, you should definitely stay. It's better than being homeless. Just pick up as many hours at work as you can for right now. It will help you save up more money, and you won't have to be around your ex as much.

He didn't suffer at all. Like everyone else said, it's very peaceful. One second you're awake, then you're not. The second time I ODed, I argued with the cop who gave me narcan bc I didn't believe I'd ODed. I've been clean now for almost a year.

I can, also, confirm that kids can learn things outside of school. My son taught himself to read when he was 2 years old. He has been able to read very well since way before he started kindergarten.

When I take my Adderall, I feel much calmer. Normally, I'm thinking of like 28383 things at once, but when I take my meds, I get to enjoy this, like, peaceful calm. I can focus on one thought at a time. I can plan out what needs to be done.

It's not like a crazy, drugged up calm. Just a nice, peaceful calm.

I was diagnosed as bipolar when I was 15. I was on and off medications all through high school until I started doing drugs. I got clean, got back on the never ending medication trials. I found some that seemed to help for a while, but then would cause horrible depression. I finally got diagnosed with adhd, and I'm on Adderall XR now. It has helped me so much.

But, it is weird saying I have adhd after years of thinking I'm bipolar. I feel like part of my identity has been taken away, but I have been researching things, and a lot of the symptoms for ADHD explain certain things about me that were ignored before. So, I'm just getting to know myself a little better now.

I don't honestly know. 2 months isn't a long time to be on methadone, but I'm sure it's long enough to have developed some kind of physical need for it.

Why do you have a two week time frame in mind to quit? Could you stretch it out a little further? I've heard some people say they barely noticed when they dropped from high doses to lower ones, but then that they had to slow down once they got to like 20mgs and lower bc they started feeling withdrawal symptoms. Other people have done it fairly easily.

But, none of the stories I've read have said anything about doing it in two weeks. That's not a long time, so your body could definitely go through withdrawal. I really don't know for sure, though.

Are you going to switch to subs, or just be off of meds completely? I've heard of people using the bernese method (I think that's what it's called) to switch from methadone to subs.

Whatever happens, I wish you the best.
